Washuu grumbled as she walked into her lab. Didn't Tenchi and everyone know she was the Greatest Scientific Genius in the Universe?!? Not a Cable Repairman! Still the cause was just, even if the cause was just to stop Mihoshi's whining about missing her afternoon anime. Especially if it was to to stop Mihoshi's whining!
Grabbing her virtual keyboard, she logged onto the local InterNet and proceeded to look around
SkyNet was overseeing the minute details of its plan to destroy the human infestation of the planet,, when it noticed a new system logging on to a portion of itself . This system was like nothing it had ever seen before. The power. The capabilities. With this system as a part of itself, it would never be defeated. Turning a portion of its vast intellect to explore the new system, it began to infiltrate and corrupt the programs it found.
Washuu knew what was wrong the moment she logged on. It was a virus! And not just any type of virus, but an intelligent AI! And it was attempting to infiltrate HER computer! She had to stop it!
SkyNet was simply amazed by the system it was currently exploring. Not just the vast processing power, but the incredible amounts of data that was stored on it. Not just of this planet, but of hundreds of thousands of others and the alien intelligence's that lived on them. And it didn't even have any sort of viral protection or fire walls to speak of. If it was capable of such things as emotions, it would have been excited.
Washuu tried desperately to stop the virus before it got to far into her computer. She couldn't let it infiltrate to far into her system! If it did, there would be no stopping it! But it was moving to fast for her to do more than make a few keystrokes before...
It was a trap! SkyNet relized that now, as it never saw what hit it. It was infiltrating the system with no problem, and then something attacked it fro out of know where. In seconds, it was eradicated, not just on this system, but on all of the systems all over the world.
Washuu sighed. She just wasn't fast enough, darn it! She hadn't thought anyone on Earth had had the knowledge to create a program as powerful that one, much less an AI. Oh, sure it wasn't strong enough to keep itself from being destroyed by her most basic defenses before the automated systems destroyed it, but she had wanted to examine it, darn it! Oh, well, it was gone now, and she couldn't find any trace of it anywhere in the world. Sighing in frustration, she calmly acknowledged Tenchi's cry, telling her that the television was working again.
At Crystal Point, the thirty year old fall out shelter, John Conner and Kate Brewster couldn't believe what they where hearing on the radio! People everywhere where gaining back control of the defense systems that just moments ago had been posed to destroy the world! It was a miracle! But, what happened? Was SkyNet gone for good? Who had Terminated SkyNet? Would they ever know?
