Hello there. This is my first Teen Wolf story, so I hope its okay. Sorry about the shortness... Anyways I've always really liked Lydia's character sooooo here it is (:

Enjoy

Lydia Martin is used to being perfect. It's the only constant in her life. The only thing that she's been able to hang onto since the beginning. Everything else just seemed to slip from her grasp and slide through her fingers.

She no longer had Jackson. She doesn't really know if she ever did. But she loved him no matter how much she wanted to hate him. No matter how much she wanted to rip apart his heart like he did to hers. No matter how much she should hate him for every stupid thing he ever did to her. She doesn't have real friends because that is what Allison Argent was for. All Allison ever did to her was lie. Something she was far to familiar with.

But the one thing Lydia Martin really hates is being perfect. Especially now. She doesn't have a perfect boyfriend to go with her new pretty dress and heels. And she most definitely doesn't have the mind for it. Everywhere she looks is just another nightmare waiting to eat her alive and bury her in her own fear. She wonders if it's still believable. Her little act.

Every day she gets up and wipes the tears from her eyes and brushes the tangles from her hair all to walk through the halls with a smile. A perfectly, red lipstick, fake smile, but it's perfect, and that's all that matters. Its what she wants anyways. For people to think of her as the beautiful popular girl that is always happy. Not the crazy girl that walks through woods naked.

Even if the only thing that smile does is make her insides hollow, it's believable. Believable enough to make people think that walking through the woods naked and writing on boards in "Greek" were totally normal things. Lydia Martin could deal with believable as long as it didn't hurt her. Because she may hate being perfect more than anything else in the world, but she'll keep doing it because it's the only thing that hasn't tried to hurt her so far.
