Disclaimer: Trust me, if I owned Hetalia, I wouldn't be writing fanfiction about it.

30 Day Hetalia Challenge!

Day 1: Write a story/chapter about two characters who are found to be neighbors on a literal map.

America/Canada

"Caught in a Rad Bromance"

"Hey, Canadia! Watch out!" America shouted. I turned around quickly, "It's Canad-UH!" Donk! A ball hit me square in the nose. Alfred laughed hysterically.

"Ow! America!" I yelped. "What was that for?" I rubbed my throbbing nose as tears welled up in my eyes. I blinked them away quickly.

"Hahahaha! Sorry, dude! It was an accident but, it was so funny! Your face is like a ball magnet!" He walked over and clapped me on the back.

"Yeah… Hysterical. You're just lucky I didn't drop my beer." I smiled tightly as he laughed. Shifting the paper bag in my arms, I bent to pick up the weapon: the bright red, rubber ball he'd been bouncing off the side of his house when I'd walked by. Handing it toward him, I made a mental note to demolish him the next time we played hockey.

"Here you go, Alfred. Could you try being a little more careful next time?" I said with a little laugh. Taking the ball, he grinned, his blue eyes crinkling up at the sides.

"Aw, don't be a sissy! It's just a little ball! The bruise will be gone in a week. But, on the bright side you didn't fall flat on your face this time."

"Yeah, haha. Well I should go, there's a hockey game on at five and if I'm late Kumo will kill me." At his confused look I held up my gloved hands, "No thumbs, bro. He can't work the remote. Have fun." Pulling my jacket tighter around me, I turned and I headed back toward my house.

"See ya, Matt! Stop by soon and we'll play some ball!" I sent a wave over my shoulder. I'd only made it a few steps into the dense forest that separated our homes when he shouted, "Hey! Wait! Why wasn't I invited?" I laughed as I heard him run to catch up.

"Fine, but you're carrying the beer and you'd better not drink it all before we even get there like you did the last time."

A/N: So.. this was supposed to be a Cracked!Canada story about how he hated America... but they have such an awesome bromance I didn't want to ruin it. I hope you enjoy the story and I would love to hear your thoughts!

I also saw the title somewhere on facebook... I think it was the saying above a picture or something... but I just didn't think it up. Credit to the one who did!
