Hospital Visit (One shot)
Reid was lying in his hospital bed, broken and bruised after being tortured and drugged by Tobias Hankel. His body was covered in bruises and his head hadn't stopped pounding in days. But he felt warm inside. He picked up the purple rose that Ryan had dropped by. It made his cheeks feel warmer than they already felt. Out of the two kisses he'd ever had in his life that didn't come from a female relative, the one he had given Ryan after receiving that rose was the better of the two. Reid was lost in thought when JJ stepped in
"For someone who's just been kidnapped, you certainly do look happy." JJ chuckled, sitting in the chair next to his bed.
"Yeah." Reid said, smiling a little.
"What's this?" JJ inquired, raising an eyebrow and picking up the rose.
"Someone dropped that by a little while ago." Reid blushed.
"Was that someone tall?" She asked.
Reid nodded.
"Did they have red hair?" She prodded
Spencer nodded again
"Did their name start with an R and end with an N?" JJ continued.
"With an a and a y in between" Reid smiled.
"So does someone have a little crush?" JJ asked, her eyebrows still raised.
"Maybe." Reid blushed.
JJ made an "ooh" sound, smiling at Reid.
"You have to promise not to tell anyone anything about this conversation ok? This is kind of a big secret I'm about to tell you."
JJ promised to keep mum. She absolutely intrigued
"Before we went to get on the plane…Ryan and I were in the meeting room…and…and He kissed me." Reid blurted out. He couldn't contain the smile anymore.
"Had you ever kissed a boy before?" JJ asked.
"I had never kissed anyone before" Reid looked down at the blanket as he said this, he was slightly embarrassed.
"Aww, Spence, that's so sweet!" JJ cooed.
Reid laughed a little.
"Hotch said Ryan and I need to take our AL together" He said.
"Really? Why would he send Ryan with you?" JJ asked
"Well, Hotch doesn't trust me to take all of the medications they're prescribing me. He thinks that I need a babysitter, and I guess he just wants Ryan to go away for a little while." Reid replied.
"Yeah he doesn't really like having Ryan around. I really can't understand what his problem is." JJ had a perplexed look on her face.
"He seems to have had all of the women in the office in some kind of weird trance until it got out that he's gay." Reid laughed.
"Here comes Hotch, I better get going" JJ smiled, ruffling Spencer's hair. "I'll see you on the plane, have fun with Ryan on your little honeymoon" She teased, turning around and leaving.
