Yugi smiled as he wrote a letter to his mom.

Dear Mom,

How have you been? I've been great! I've made a lot of friends, and we all play Duel Monsters together. I solved a really hard puzzle that even Grandpa couldn't solve.

Yugi could feel his Other Self move in the back of his mind as he wrote.

/That's because you were the only one meant to solve it/ Yugi heard a whisper in his mind.

\I know\ He smiled, and then continued to write.

School's been great. I get really good grades, and I study a lot.

Yugi suddenly began to get choked up.

I wish you were here. How come I never see you anymore? WHERE ARE YOU?

He broke down crying.

Yugi felt his Yami take control. Involuntarily, he could feel his hand move to wipe away the tears. It seemed He wanted for Yugi to be conscious for this.

Yami looked down at the letter His Hikari had written. Gritting His teeth in anger, He began to mark it over and make corrections. He laughed darkly as He wrote. Finally finished, He held it up to make one final revision.

It now read:

Dear Mom,

How have you been? I've been great! I've made a lot of friends, and we all play Duel Monsters together. I solved a really hard puzzle that even Grandpa couldn't solve.

School's been great. I get really good grades, and I study a lot.

I wish you were here. How come I never see you anymore? WHERE ARE YOU?

You have caused My Hikari to cry. The next time We cross paths, you will not survive. Stay away, and do not attempt to make contact with him, or I will seek you out.

The Millennium Eye was burnt into the bottom of the paper.

Yugi blacked out as He prevented him from seeing any more.

OOOOOOO

A woman got her mail. Seeing a letter from her son, she opened it. Her eyes widened as she read the contents. As she reached the bottom, her wrist erupted in a searing pain. Biting back a scream as the pain faded, she saw that the same Eye that was on the bottom of her son's letter was now also emblazoned on her wrist.
