Standing on the doorstep, the brothers watched as the ramshackle mansion's great door slowly opened with a foreboding creak.
They squirmed uncomfortably under the sanctimonious gaze of the butler who stood in the doorway, glaring down his long hooked nose at the two visitors.
"Is, um, your employer there?" Sam asked hesitantly. Giving a grudging nod, the butler trudged back inside.
"This place is at the epicentre of all the paranormal activity round here," whispered Sam; "I bet it's connected somehow."
"Yeah," Dean agreed; "and the nine-foot butler with the bolt through his neck is a bit of a giveaway too."
