"Ack!" Korra screamed as she was flung out of the gates. Today, she seemed less focused than she normally was. Korra was never completely concentrated, but it was especially bad today.
Tenzin sighed. "Korra, let's end training today. What happened? You were so focused yesterday."
"I don't know! Every single wind gate hit me in the face! Literally."
Korra walked to her room and flopped on her bed. She screamed into her pillow. "What is WRONG WITH ME?"
"Can I answer that?" said a voice from door. It was Mako.
"How did you get here, and WHY?"
"Nice to see you too."
"How and why?"
"You skipped practice. Also, the wind gate thingies beat the crap out of you."
"Since when was there a practice?"
"Since I told you yesterday," Mako smirked.
"And why were you watching me?" Korra interrogated.
"I felt like it. You landed pretty hard on your arm. Is it hurt?"
"No," Korra lied. She was still wearing her monk clothes, so Mako couldn't see the giant bloody bruise that was just below her shoulder.
"You know what?" Mako asked slowly.
Korra raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"LIAR!" Mako grabbed Korra by her wrist and pulled her his way. He yanked up her sleeve, and Korra froze.
"I didn't see that."
"Oh really?" He whispered into her ear. "Anyway, you have pretty eyes."
"And you have pretty bad skills with not invading my personal bubble."
"There is a reason for that."
Korra's face turned bright red when she realized what Mako was hinting at. She decided to play dumb, so she could have time to compose herself. "You don't know what a space bubble is?"
Mako laughed. "Korra you know what I mean."
"I do know," Korra stated blankly.
"I am invading your space, because-"
He was cut off when Korra kissed him. "Yeah, love you too."
"What if that wasn't what I was going to say?"
"So you don't want me to kiss you again?" Korra teased.
This time, Mako kissed her. "No, I want to kiss you."
