Spring Cleaning
Crowley discovered Rowena rummaging in a closet, muttering to herself, and throwing the occasional item over her shoulder.
"Mother, what are you doing?" he asked, narrowly avoiding an antique, eighteenth century grimoire.
Rowena glanced over her shoulder. "I'm having a clean sweep," she answered scornfully. "I like to make it an annual event."
Crowley chuckled. "I never imagined you as the spring cleaning type."
"Och, no dear," Rowena snorted. "I dinnae care about a wee bit o' dust or cobwebs; I love spiders! No, I'm looking for my book o' poisons before I decide who I'm gonnae kill this year!"
