Through the open window the dawning suns lazy glint landed upon the sleeping form of a woman in her mid- thirties. The brightening light of the early sun cast dancing shadows upon the orange and lavender colored walls. She stirred in her sleep slightly, emitting a soft moan, the blond's storm colored eyes fluttered open, slightly dazed.
Groggily Luna propped herself up on one elbow, and nudged the dark-haired man sleeping beside her, in the queen sized bed, gently with her fore-finger. He groaned lightly but did not wake.
"Wake up sleeping beauty, the sun is upon us." Luna said, her voice light and teasing. She shook him a little harder, he opened his eyes and peered up at her, but quickly shut his eyes again and uttered a slightly rude grunt before continuing snoring.
"Mommy Ganoo got loose again an I can't find him anywhere" Luna looked up at the familiar voice of her only daughter, Lena. The six-year old stood in the door way, her long blond curls fell to her small shoulders, her chocolate brown eyes looked at her, sadness filled they're depths.
Neville shot from the bed, his wedding ring catching the sun light, that now streamed through the pushed back curtains of the open window. The stars were quickly fading from the sky. Luna grinned at her husband and turned her attention back to Lena, luna's eyes dances with laughter. Ganoo was a furry little creature with brown fur and looked rather like a rabbit, beside her many sharp teeth and glowing violet eyes, also if you get past the dust bunnies (The wizard term adopted by the muggles) magical powers.
Ganoo had taken quite a disliking to poor Neville. Her husband was afraid of the many pointed teeth in the dust bunnie's mouth and with very good reason, last month the teeth had found Neville's rear end, after he had sent Lena to her room.
"Accio Ganoo" Luna gave a quick flick of her wand and the furry little creature appeared in Neville's unexpecting arms. His dark brown eyes widened considerably as he gave a quick yelp in surprise. Ganoo made an unceremonious drop to the hardwood planks, she glared up at Neville.
He took a quick step back and almost doubled over the foot rest behind him.
Laughter sounded from the doorway, the two turned to see Lena giggling with her older twin brothers, Zion and Dimitri who looked as if they were about to hit the ground laughing at their father's expense. Uncontrollable smirks lit up their handsome faces.
"Whad me miss mama?" the small boy looked over the upside down issue of the Daily Prophet in his chubby little hands. "Nothing Xeno" Luna replied looking at her husband beside herself in laughter herself at this point. Xeno was beginning to look more and more like Lena's father, Xenophilious Lovegood, his name-sake, she realized as she looked at her three-year old son. She ruffled the boy's blond curls.
A younger image of Neville, Nathaniel James Longbottom appeared in the peculiar room, an odd looking head band with many odd looking feathers stood out against his dark hair. Nate seemed confused and obviously knew that he had missed something, but apparently decide not to ask.
" Well as long as we're all here we might as well have a group vote, who want's waffles?" Luna asked, finally under control. A chorus of 'me's' rang through the room. "Okay go get dressed I'll meet you all down stairs in ten minuets". Luna turned to her husband after the last child cleared the room. "You know you have to get over that fear of Dust Bunnies, honey." Luna gave a slight giggle as a light blush swept across Neville's pale cheeks. "She started it" He said childishly as he ran his fingers through her already tangled hair. He kissed her playfully. "Come on lets go, I'm looking forward to those waffles." He started for the door.
"Wait one minute, I have something to tell you, silly man" she grinned and looked at him "Your going to be a daddy... all over again."
