Rin has been sleeping quite more than normal. When Yukio walked into their room he saw Rin still asleep as he was when he left. Sighing the tall chocolate haired boy sat at his desk pulling his chair out with a squeak. He quickly glanced at his sleeping brother who grunted and turned over. A sigh of relief came over him as he sat down looking at the paper and mineral water he left behind. Rin shifted again and Yukio found himself looking at him move. There was something upsettingly calming about how his brother slept all day and shifted right now. Rin's tail twitched as if sensing something and then Rin shot awake.

"Rin?" Yukio asked in concern at his brother.

"Huh?" Rin turned his head to Yukio, eyes half open and slight drool escaping his mouth. His hair was a mess sticking up in a way that made it looks like cat ears. Yukio chuckled at his brother; he had nothing to worry about.

"What time is it?" Rin rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms above his head.

"Late," Yukio rested his head on his hand. "I'm surprised you slept this long, considering you slept all day yesterday." Yukio poked fun at his brother.

"I'm about to go back to sleep." Rin scratched under his shirt yawning. "I sleep for both of us." Rin pouted.

"For the both of us?" Yukio questioned amused.

Rin fluffed his pillow and tiredly looked for Kuro who wasn't in the room. "Yeah" Rin said nonchalantly. "You don't sleep enough." Rin adjusted the blanket and pillow again before laying down again on top of his semi made bed.

"You sleep too much." Yukio rolled his eyes, offended by the bluntness in Rin's words. The sleepy boy smiled and questioned what the other was doing at the desk. Yukio gave the answer he always did aside from 'None of your business' and said working.

"Take a nap." Rin said turning to his side, he rested a hand on his head. "For like 20 minutes, think of it as a power nap." He scooted over and tapped at the vacant space on the bed. "I'll wake you up."

Yukio glanced at his work and back at Rin. A nap didn't sound awful, the envy of how his brother slept so long was getting to him. Not to mention this work wasn't due for another week. He was surprised by how quickly he almost agreed. He didn't want to give his brother the satisfaction of having a mediocre idea for once so he declined. Without fail Rin retaliated giving every reason he could think of while Yukio countered every complaint with a logical reason.

"Yuuuukkkkiiiiiiioooooo" Rin cried out muffled, due to the fact his face on in his pillow, "Just lay dowwwwnnnnnn" He pat the space again rapidly. Lifting his face up, fed up with his brother denying his genuine care for the others well being. "Listen to your older brother and get some shut eye for a second."

Yukio huffed and set down his pencil "You really aren't going to stop until I take a nap, are you?" His eyes narrowed at the persistent navy haired boy. Rin shook his head violently covering his face again to hide his satisfied smile, the way his tail moved gave away the triumphant feeling he tried to conceal.

"20 minutes." Defeated Yukio stood up reaching for his phone to set the timer. "That's it."

Rin moved himself over again to make room for Yukio. "Grab your pillow." Rin said when Yukio stood up.

"Why can't I just sleep in my bed?" He deadpanned.

"That wasn't part of the deal," tinge of hurt in Rin's voice which made Yukio rub his temples.

"Whatever, fine." Yukio grabbed his pillow and set his glasses on his desk. Why did he always end up in these dumb situations because of his brother? Yukio took his precious time walking the few feet over onto Rin's bed. He threw the pillow and his phone down next to his brothers; glaring as he sat down on the edge of it.

"It's just like when we were little." Rin spoke quietly gently as if remising. He looked up at his brother as his head lay to the side with a smile. Rin's hair was still a mess and his eyes were still tired, he seemed exhausted as Yukio got a closer look at him. Yukio chose to lie on top of blanket as well; he wondered what his face looked like this close. If his eyes looked as tired or if his moles looked obnoxious on his face, even if they did Rin didn't seem to mind or be affected by it. They were facing each other a couple inches apart, Yukio could feel Rin's breath and felt self conscious with his own and tried to make it match Rin's without fully meaning to. The other must have noticed and chuckled lightly.

"Go to sleep." Rin said before closing his eyes, his arm tucked under the pillow while the other rested on the bed in front of his chest. Yukio took one more look at the work on his desk, the image was blurry from lack of his glasses, he pinched the bridge of his nose. It was still bright out, and he was about to take a nap. He sighed to himself placing an arm over his eyes and the other along his chest. He breathed in and out trying to limit the thoughts running in his mind. He felt the pressure next to him changed and removed the arm from over his eyes. It was Rin hovering over him.

"Hey." Rin spoke annoyed for some reason.

"What?" Yukio croaked out, annoyed by the tone in his brothers voice.

"Go to sleep." Rin hissed out the last word. Even though Yukio wasn't shifting it's as if Rin knew a million thoughts were going through the other's mind.

"I'm trying." Yukio huffed and turned in towards Rin. "I'm trying." He repeated quieter closing his eyes and Rin had that panic that this wasn't a good idea.

"If you're not tired don't worry about it…" Rin put his head back on the pillow yawning. "Crawl back in here when you are." Rin glanced and gave a smile before closing his eyes again. Yukio stared at the boy before him. So persistent and sure of himself then denying everything to make sure his brother is comfortable. Yukio leaned up so he was the one looking up at his brother now. What was his problem how could he just contradict what he originally said even after all of Yukio's previous protests? Yukio lied back down staring at Rin. He focused on his breath. The way his chest moved up and down the flare in his nose. He focused on Rin and that was the last thing he remembered before he woke up to his alarm going off.

Yukio grunted and rubbed his eyes as he reached to the side of him for his phone turning off the alarm. He reached for the floor where his glasses would normally be. When he didn't find them he rubbed his eyes again trying to get them adjusted. When his eyes focused he realized he wasn't on his side of the room. He was in Rin's. And he saw Rin's sleeping face beside his. He looked content and it made something in Yukio flutter. It was still light outside and Yukio's work still sat on the desk. There was still time in the day he thought as an honest smile crawled over his face. He looked back at Rin's face, his closed eyes and relaxed eyebrows. He reached for his phone again squinting for the light and putting in alarm for another 20 minutes. He buried his face in his pillow, another 20 minutes won't hurt.

Rin opened an eye when he felt that Yukio had stopped moving. The alarm had awoke him up but he wouldn't tell Yukio that. A sense of joy from the sight he saw next to him, Yukio sleeping peaceful, something he couldn't remember for a long time. Maybe Rin wouldn't have to keep sleeping from the both of them after all.
