Chapter one:
"Arg" Ginger screamed into her hairbrush. She had been brushing her hair, and her hair had a humongous rats nest in it. She slammed her brush down and went over to her window were her tawney owl had been sitting.
"A Mail, Drax?" she plucked the mail off Drax, "oh yes, its from Hogwarts! Oh no..this is going to cost alot..but i'll have daddy pay for it, hmm Drax?" She said petting her owl. She walked over to her bed and got out her trunk, packing away her Slytherin robes. Among them, she found her first letter. Adressed to herself, Ginger Luddin, she put it into her wardrobe. She packed Drax away and put him ontop of her trunk and carried it out of the room. She was entering the kitchen when she almost bumped into her twin brother, Brent. He said "move" then left, she sighed and went on putting her trunk in the fast muggle thing her mother calls a car. 'Whatever that is,' she thought and walked back into the kitchen.
"Hello Mum.." She said to her mom, Carrie, as she went and picked up a roll from the table.
"Hello dear, all ready?" replyed her mom.
"Sure.." She mummbled, mouth half full of bread.
"Lets crack on then.." Said her father, who had been eves dropping. He yelled, "Bren' come on! 'wer going to be late!" Brent came down the stairs, plucked a roll from the plate on the table and mummbled 'hey ginger spice' under his breath. He called her that ALOT. She got tired of it..smiled sarcasticly and got up. "Lets go family" she said in a hurried tone.
"Hold your spice rack," replyed her brother.
"well all the nerve" she said and went to the 'Car'.
Arriving on Platform 9 3/4, she met up with her friends, Bianca and Brit. She eyed her other friend, who was off talking to a blonde kid, who she must not say the name of. They had been mean to eachother sence the first day at Hogwarts. His name was 'Draco', 'Draco' Malfoy. 'I mean what kind of name is 'Draco?' she thought to herself often. Her friend talking to 'Draco' came over, and she lightly punched her in the shoulder.
"Why were you talking to him?!" she asked angerly.
"ugh..i didnt..he came to talk to me," her happening to hate 'Draco' aswell, "he was asking about classes or something of the sort."
"well i reall....," but suddently was bumped into by Brent, "hey loser.." he said as he bumped into her..and went over to her friend whom she had been talking to, her name was Brooke. Brent went over and put an arm around Brooke's shoulder.
"Hey love," said Brooke, "i missed you."
"I missed you too," he said and hugged her, then kissed her. Ginger turned away. And walked over to Bianca and Brit, deeply in conversation.
"Ugh..sometime i reall.., what?" she stopped because Bianca was looking oddishly at Ginger and Brit had turned away, "whats wrong?!"
Brit turned to her..she was crying, "G..Ginger..he..he..HE BROKE UP WITH ME!!!" And Brit fell into her. Ginger kinda rolled her eyes, and turned to Bianca.."Did he?" She asked her, Bianca just shook her head, yes. Ginger was worried though, because of Biancas odd look. Ginger said reasurring, "Well he was an big arsh anyways." Wich made Brit cry even harder.
"Oh im sorry Brit..I..I was just joking!! Dont cry, your going to soil my shirt!"
"oh..im sorry Ginger..i-its just..I L-LOVED HIM!" and went sobbing into her shirt again..
Ginger just stood there, eyeing Brits ex, 'God damn him, why? WHY? She didnt do anything to you..god..i hate hate hate you!' And she said to Bianca, "Im going to kill him.."
"Well theres nothing you can do about it..Hes 'Draco', and 'Draco' will be 'Draco'."
