Star Fox: Insurgency

Two years after the Anglars were defeated, The Star Fox team finally returns home. In their absence, however, Corneria falls under a new leader, and has become a dictatorship. With Star Fox disavowed and gone into hiding, a young pilot forms a squadron of his own in hopes of restoring Corneria's former glory...

Introduction

"Two years have passed since the fall of the Anglar Empire."

The Great Fox slowly approaches Corneria.

"We finally came home after a long vacation..."

A fleet of ships approaches the Great Fox.

"...but we weren't welcome."

The Great Fox is being attacked and has taken heavy damage. Two Arwings fly out of the hangar.

"Corneria is under new leadership. We didn't know..."

The sun sets over Corneria City, which has been attacked. A lone Arwing escapes the chaos.

"...that the peace we wanted would never come to be."

A blaster is loaded. An Arwing starts its engine. A lone pilot puts on her flight jacket.

"The Lylat System depends on us. We can't turn a blind eye to this corruption. Because we..."

An emblem depicting a winged fox with two tails emerges from the darkness.

"...are Star Fox."

Well, that was a hell of an introduction. I wanted to create a cinematic intro, so this is my best attempt. The story begins from here. Look forward to future chapters!
