His wife, Denise, and youngest son, Shane, both arrested, and his oldest son, Brian, dead. Since that day, Roger Partneywas heartbroken with grief, now that he was going back to Canada...alone. He shouldn't have been angry at Denise for killing
Vasco Torres as revenge for Brian's murder. But since that event, both Denise and Shane were the only family he had left. Now with both of them arrested by the CSI, he had nothing to live for anymore.
His vacation in Miami now over, he threw away the return tickets that he bought for Denise, Brian and Shane. However, before he could leave for the airport, he noticed Mitch Pena, shaken up after Vasco was killed, being aided to a police car in handcuffs.
/Walking to him, Roger asked, "Did you order Vasco Torres to kill my son, Brian?"
"So what if I did?" Mitch replied.
"You son of a bitch!" Soon after Roger shouted in front of his face, he punched Mitch in the face. That event prompted the CSI to grab Roger from behind. "I hope you rot in jail!"
As the CSI took Roger away, Mitch rubbed his bruised mouth.
"One question, Mr. Partney," Horatio began. "Why?"
We're at the interrogation room inside the Miami Dade Police Department.
"Because he ordered Brian's murder," Roger replied. "And with both Denise and Shane in prison, there's nothing for me anymore! Now what am I going to do?"
"Who knows?" Horatio answered. "I suggest you go on back to Canada and start a new life. Though I must warn you. If you pull a stunt like what you did to Pena again, the law will make sure," he put on his shades before he continued, "to report your actions
/to us."
Roger didreturn with that in mind. Eventually, he started to date. It is said that he married again, choosing for a second wife, a widow with a son and daughter...but that's another story.
