The Winning Interview
Luna Lovegood sat in the viewing box watch the Quidditch World Cup. Getting ready to write an article about the match win or lose. Ginny promised an interview with her after the match. Luna watched as Ginny caught the Golden Snitch and the announcers make the announcement that Ginny Weasley caught the Golden Snitch and won the match for the Harpies. Luna quietly watched as The Harpies lifted Ginny into the air The reporters flooded the field to ask for the winning interview. Luna giggled as she watched the chaos that followed the team heading to the shower rooms. Rita Skeeter's Quick Quote Quills wrote nonsenses as she shouted questions to the players. Luna turned on her muggle recorder that Hermione had given her for Christmas and started talking to make sure it was working correctly.
I am sitting at the table in the viewing room waiting just like Ginny had asked. I soon saw Rita Skeeter sneaking around the stairs of the viewing room. My friend Hermione Granger told me that the sneaky Skeeter was an unregistered Animagus. She said that she was a beetle. I find that is very suiting for her. Seeing that beetles are not very useful insects and I don't see how Rita is useful. To each is their own I suppose. Hermione told me that she uses her bug form to write her stories for the Daily Prophet. I am not sure how she does that when she writes stories that are untrue. If she can sneak in to rooms shouldn't she write true stories?
Oh look! Hello little beetle. My name is Luna Lovegood and I am about to have an interview with miss Ginny Weasley and the Harpies team. Would you like to stay? The small beetle crawls on to my shoulder and I smile. Of course I know that you will be more comfortable in my little terrarium. I wave my wand and a small terrarium appears on the table. The little beetle tries to crawl away but I quickly place it in the terrarium and close the lid. Don't worry my little friend I will place a silencing charm on the terrarium when the team comes in because they can be very loud.
I think we can chat while we wait for the team to get changed after their showers. Did you know that I was asked to come write for the Daily Prophet? I think they are growing tired of all of the lies that Ms. Skeeter is writing. I feel bad for her you know she has a wonderful writing style. I feel that she could also get more interviews if she told what the people really said. I write for my father's paper The Quibbler. Maybe you have heard of it. I always write what is said in the interview. That is why I have such wonderful interview with Harry, Ron and Hermione.
What do you think my little friend? Do you see why I tell the truth; I know that if Ms. Skeeter tried to be more truthful then she would be better off. I would let her try to write a truthful interview about me if she asked and was kind about it. Do you think she would do that my friend? You look very angry my little beetle friend. I am sorry that you don't agree. I understand that some people do not wish to change because I know that people can change. Just look at my cousin, Draco…oh but you wouldn't know about that now. Here comes the team. I will cover you and cast the charm now so we do not bother you little friend.
With a wave of Her wand Luna silenced the terrarium and covered with the scarf as the door opened and Ginny hugged Luna as the team filled in behind Ginny. Once the terrarium was covered Luna kissed Ginny and told her all about her other on sided interview with Rita Skeeter. The team all laughed. Ginny smiled and said you still think she could write a truthful interview? Luna shrugged and said I don't know. All I know is a have a winning interview to get to now.
