GREAT ESCAPE

Sam rushed to his brother who lay sprawled unconscious on the floor, blood coming from both nose, chin, and forehead. Dropping to his knees, he tapped lightly at Dean's cheek. "Dean? Dean, come on. We've gotta move!" When he didn't respond, Sam slapped a little harder.
Finally, Dean groaned and his eyes fluttered. He twitched both arms and legs.
Sam did the quickest field assessment he could. "Can you walk?"
"Mmmm."
"Dean, I need to know—I hear sirens—we need to get the hell outta here."
"Y-Y-Yeah." It was more a moan than a word.
"Good." Sam pulled Dean upright, held him steady.
"W-Whoa. Dizzy."
"Yeah. That doesn't surprise me."
"You're sure you can walk?"
"Y-Yeah." He took a step and his knees immediately buckled.
Sam caught him. "Yep, that's what I thought." Sam bent down and pulled Dean into a firemen's carry.
Dean squirmed. "What're you doin'?" he mumbled.
"Saving your ass."
"M-My ass is f-fine."
"Yeah, tell me that again when you can stand up, walk, and not see double."
"How'd you k-know I was seeing d-double?"
"Educated guess."
"Uhh...this is NOT helping the d-dizziness!"
