Ven was lying still. He had no Idea where he was, and he couldn't move.
Where am I? Why am I here?
He heard voices, but couldn't quite make out the words. It sounded like Aqua.
How he missed Aqua. He had many great times with her and never wanted to be a burden for her and Terra. But apparently, that did not work out.
Hearing Aqua's voice made him feel calm.
He began to think about old times...
The Mark of Mastery exam, his own adventures, and his adventures with his friends.
He missed those times. Times when he could laugh without a care in the world. But those times had passed.
He heard Aqua's voice again.
He could hear her saying,
"I hope that you can hear me say that I hope you'll wake up soon."
Even though he could not on the outside, Ven was smiling.
It was then that he opened his eyes.
