This is the fourth and, likely, final one-shot for the Huntress series of one-shots. I am a heavy procrastinator so the posting of the multi-chapter fic that would follow these one-shots may take a while to be uploaded so I apologize to any of those who were looking forward to it. I hope you enjoy and please review if you find any mistakes or just want to make a comment.

Red-Rose-Risin

Weiss Schnee had always lived in a somewhat… frigid... family. Her father had always been substantially more focused on work than family. He spoke rarely to her or her siblings, with a purpose, a clipped tone, and an air of factuality that said that you were not allowed to disagree with him. The only thing that kept him from being a frozen to the core block of ice was his warmer(not to say warm) other half.

Needless to say, Weiss was closer to her mother than her father, which was not saying all that much. She was much closer to her siblings, very close, in fact. Her older sister, Winter, and younger brother, Whitley, were always there for her when she needed them.

When she was 12, her mother, brother and her were a car accident. Weiss was the only one to survive. Her sister, who was always much closer to their mother, decided to join the atlas army. Leaving Weiss alone with her now thrice times embittered father and the butler that was always so kind to her, Klein. She was molded by her father to be the perfect heiress to his company. She was not allowed to show any weakness or imperfection for she was his daughter and he would not settle for any less. She would stay silent when at dinner and any other time she ran into him she was subjected to her father's mental and emotional abuse. He would rant on about how much of a disappointment she was to him and her deceased mother. How it should have been her instead of his beloved wife.

She was subjected to this for four years until she broke free from him. She ran away in the middle of winter and was forced to sleep outside without any way to find food or water. She was found two weeks later by some young adults who were taking a shortcut through an alley. The same alley that she lay, passed out from lack of nourishment. She was taken to the hospital, her was sister called in when they couldn't reach her father. When Weiss relented to her constant insistence for information, she told Winter about their father's abuse and Winter decided that she would not be returning to him. She used her influence from being in a top position in the Atlas Army to convince the police that going back to their father would be detrimental to her health.
