Fuyuhana
CHAPTER 1
A girl with black hair and red eyes aged 13 was walking or more like limping since her body hurt to much for it to move properly she was wearing a black dress that reached her knees and she had no shoes her names is Rika Blood "Mou where am I?" Rika said while looking around she just came from her parent's house who were not the nicest people and since she was so afraid she just ran to the closest place she could go the forest and now she was lost.
Rika heard the faint sound of water falling and she knew that there was a fall nearby so she decided to go to it as she walked towards the falls she saw a black thing lying near the water at first she thought it was just dirt but upon closer inspection she was that it was a wolf that was bigger than normal after deeming it safe she approached the wolf being as silent as possible when she got close to the wolf she saw that it had a wound not to deep and something that she can heal.
Rika focused her energy on healing the wolf and it did slowly but surely the wound began to close when it was done she petted the wolfs fur which was surprisingly soft then suddenly the wolfs eyes snapped open and it stood up knocking her to her side thankfully the one that was not as wounded but it still hurt the wolf laid its eyes on her and softened when he saw that she was hurt Rika didn't see since she was looking at her wound light surrounded the wolf and when it was over standing there was a boy about Rika's age wearing a white shirt and leather pants.
The boy was named Yami and he approached Rika who finally snapped out of her daze at what she saw and sat there looking at him "Are you alright?" Yami asked while looking over some of her wounds that were more severe than the others he reached out his hand to touch some of her wounds when her hand came up as if she was blocking a strike Yami looked shocked "Sorry… reflexes…" Rika said while bringing back her arm to cradle it.
"My name's Rika Blood… What's yours?" Rika asked while meeting Yami in the eye "My name is Yami. Let me heal you." Yami answered while raising his hands over her wounds slowly healing them she let him "What are you doing out here." he asked looking up to look at her "I was kicked out of my house." she mumbled but he still heard her Yami was about to say something when Rika let out a dry laugh "You know this isn't the first time I was kicked out of a house." she looked at him with tears running down her cheeks.
Suddenly her body can't take the stress anymore so she fainted but Yami was there to catch her 'I wonder if her past is like mine' Yami thought while lifting said girl into his arms bridal style while also looking down on her, he brought her to nearby cave which is behind the falls so if anyone was sent to capture the both of them they wouldn't be found he placed her on the floor and then went to get some water he came back, ripped a piece of his shirt, dipped it into the water and cleaned Rika from the blood then when he was finished he turned back into a wolf and wrapped himself around her so she wouldn't be cold after a check on their surroundings Yami promptly went to sleep.
