Meyrin and Sebastian are sent out by a sick Fae with chicken pox to go take care of the mission sent by the Queen, it is normally a three man job but she figures that Sebastian and Meyrin can handle it while she tries not to scratch. Baldroy and Finny have already had chicken pox so they will be fine, poor Tanaka is in his small state so he can't do much of anything this week.
"Oi. Finny, it's up to us to take care of Lady Fae." says Baldroy
"Right! Poor thing isn't doing too well, she looks miserable." says Finny, sadly
"Yeah..seems like she can't catch a break." says Baldroy
They sigh sadly when Fae calls out for some help, they rush up and stop her from scratching.
"Lady Fae! You'll make it worse!" says Baldroy
"I don't care it itches!" says Fae
"Let us help you! Sebastian left you medicine. Oh! I know!" says Finny
Off he goes while Baldroy gets her medicine on her trying to be respectful at the same time when it comes to her legs needing tended too. Finny comes back and gets oven mitts and puts them on her.
"That way when you scratch it won't do anything." says Finny
"That's a great idea, Finny." says Baldroy
"But it doesn't keep my mind off the itchiness." says Fae
"You're right...hmm.." says Finny
They think and come up with something.
"Oo! We'll be right back Lady Fae!" says both the boys.
They make her chicken noodle soup and helps her sit up before giving it to her with a cup of her favorite tea. They then head out into town where Finny buys her a jumbo teddy bear and Baldroy buys her the latest Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice novels for her to read.
"She'll love those books, Bard" says Finny
"And she'll love that teddy bear. Something to cuddle with when she is tired." says Baldroy
They smile and head back to the manor where they present her with the gifts.
"Something to read when you get bored." says Baldroy
"And something to cuddle with when you want to sleep." says Finny
"Aw.. Thank you too so much that is really sweet you too." says Fae
She smiles at them, they take the soup away for now and gives her the teddy laying it beside her and gives her the two books leaving her to rest with a new idea, but it's getting late so they'll give it to her tomorrow. She falls asleep pretty easily after dinner and wakes up to breakfast in bed made by Baldroy. She smiles and eats what she can before she is too full to eat another bite. She reads her Jane Eyre book before laying down for a nap, at lunch time Finny reports that she is asleep so they get to work on her surprise cake. They know that chocolate makes her feel better, so they make her a chocolate cake that will last all week in the shape of a heart. In pink icing they put "get well soon. Love Finny and Baldroy". She wakes up and they smile presenting the cake she blinks in surprise.
"You guys...you're spoiling me." says Fae
"We just want to help you feel better." says Finny
"Yeah, We know that chocolate helps you feel better." says Baldroy
She smiles and eats a small piece of the cake, and Baldroy heads down to clean up the mess. The boys take turn to sit with her and talk with her while taking care of their chores and making sure she is well taking care of. They switch on and off to make sure that she isn't alone when she is awake, she even reads them a few chapters of the book. When Meyrin and Sebastian return they find the three cuddled up together fast asleep and Fae looking a lot better.
"Awww that's so cute." says Meyrin
"Yeah it is. Good job boys." says Sebastian
They smile and tiptoe away letting them sleep, after tucking them in and Sebastian takes the tray off the bed.
