Kevin Sherwood was now one month old and his Mommy's and Daddy's pride and joy. He had dark brown hair inherited from his Mom and green eyes from his Dad. He was also the sweetest baby ever much like his Grandma Denise but no baby is perfect; he had his Grandpa Frank's temper. Other than that, he was well behaved. Except the fact that, just like his Daddy, Kevin was colicky.

"Tonya, I'll give you $100 to get that baby," said Jeremy when crying came from the baby monitor.

"Jeremy, please I'm so tired I can't see straight," groaned Tonya.

"Honey, you know he only goes to sleep if you cuddle with him," reminded Jeremy.

"Fine," huffed Tonya as she stumbled out of bed and down the hall. These 3 AM wakings were annoying as all get out, but whenever she saw her baby boy, everything faded.

"It's okay sweetheart. Mommy's here," she cooed at Kevin. She began to cradle him and bounce him a little to calm him down. Tonya looked into her son's green eyes lovingly. It may have already been a month, but it was still surreal. She had a son. Sure she had dealt with Molly a ton of times, especially while she was pregnant with Kevin, but holding your own child was different than holding your sister-in-law. She had brought Kevin into the world. Even if that did mean enduring twelve hours of painful contractions, it was all worth it the moment he was in her arms. Just like now.

"How are my two favorite people?" asked Jeremy coming into the nursery.

"Just fine," said Tonya, "He finally calmed down."

"Do you want me to put him in his crib?" asked Jeremy. Tonya nodded and hand Kevin off to her husband.

"Good night baby boy. I love you," said Tonya as she kissed his forehead. She left the room only to look back. At the man she loved holding the other little man she loved. At her family. Their family.

The End!
