A/N: I am working on my writing skills so this story is more of a test drive thingy, still not quite a good writer but if you have any advice I would love to hear it, I'm all about bettering my writing skills

Glee and its characters do not belong to me, which is a shame

It's weird you know? All that really happened was her leg pressed to mine. Yet for those few moments I couldn't breathe. The only thing I could concentrate on was my leg, it was on fire. Like there was a flame soaring though the appendage. The heat is what caught my attention, what drew my eyes to her. In a moment my breath was ragged, my leg on fire, and my eyes were glued to her face. She seemed oblivious to it all, her eyes on the board. The only sign that she was aware of what was happening was the faint blush on her cheeks. Nothing like this had ever happened before, not in the heat of the moment, not when I was holding my ex-boyfriend's hand. Nothing came close to this spark, it was terrifying and exciting all together. Then she shifted her leg our legs no longer brushing. Closing my eyes I released a breath. I quickly got up, feeling the need to leave so without a word to no one I fled; I prowled the hall trying to walk off what I was feeling. "Quinn?" Whipping around I came nose to nose with the little diva, "Why did you leave glee club so suddenly?" I opened my mouth to give a reply but no sound escaped from my lips. She stood there tapping her foot obviously awaiting an answer, unfortunately nothing came to mind. Having her so close, the heat from earlier began creeping back into my body. My eyes shifted downward realizing just how close we had become. Licking my lips I looked back up at her, I found that faint blush again. A growl emanated from my throat, I crashed our lips together. Moving to the side, I pressed the diva up against the locker, the heat between us only grew hotter. My hands (having a mind of their own) were exploring any form of cool flesh they could find. Yet just as fast as I started it, I retreated. Backing up quickly my eyes darted around trying to see if anyone else saw. Catching my breath I chanced a look at her. Her hair was messed up in certain areas and her shirt was slightly askew all in all she looked thoroughly ravished. "Quinn?" came her slightly breathless reply, my eyes darted to hers, looking for anger or fear.
"Err… sorry Ra-Manhands, I lost myself for a moment. It won't happen again." With that I started walking away as fast as I could, almost running from her. As I slowed down I realized she had followed. Grabbing my arm and spinning me around her lips crashed into mine, just as mine had to hers. Suddenly the heat was back beckoning both of us in. With feather touches I explored her abdomen, reaching higher and higher only to drop back down. Our breathing became faster and my heart beat erratically. All too soon oxygen became a necessity, we broke apart gasping for breath, and slowly I untangled myself from her grasp. "Rachel that was a bad idea."
Looking at me she frowned,

"Probably, that what most defiantly not on my to do list today." Her eyes crinkling at her statement. Smiling she continued, "But one must always be on the lookout for new experiences." Glancing at her I gave a little chuckle.

"Yeah well that was definitely something new." I straightened up and began smoothing out my clothes and hair since that had become wrinkled during the kiss, she began doing the same. "I should go…" As I started leaving she grabbed my hand and began walking with me. "Rachel…"

"Oh relax Quinn I'm just being friendly, I mean we are friends right?" Glancing at her and doing a one over I smiled

"Yeah Rachel, we're friends." I knew that this was the beginning of a great friendship and maybe even more.
