Hi All!

The Art of Stalking
Dark eyes gazed at the pony tailed genin, who was cloud watching in the same spot as usual, from their hiding place. The owner of those orbs was waiting for the right moment to strike, he knew the boy was quick and smart, and wouldn't let him get away again.
Blissfully unaware of being stalked, Shikamaru stared up at the mostly clear blue sky, one or two white puffs floated peacefully across his vision. Bushes rustled to his left but he didn't glance over. It wasn't until he heard the guttural scream that he jerked to look at the figure flying toward him. With a loud sounding 'oof' and in a tangle of limbs, the two tumbled down the hill.
At the bottom, the figure, now identified as Kiba, sat straddling the brunette. His sly grin slowly morphed into a frown as he looked upon the stump of wood that was once Shikamaru.
A slight chuckle sounded right behind him as a lithe body slid along his back until hot breath brushed over his ear, "Did you honestly think you'd get the drop on me by jumping out of some bushes?" Shikamaru didn't wait for a reply, standing back up and stuffing his hands deep into his pants pockets, "You're such a pain."
"No, I didn't. I waited 'til you were distracted." The voice didn't come from the boy in the grass but from behind him, brown eyes widen as arms wrapped tightly around him.
Shikamaru glared at the boy turned dog before shifting around in the arms to glare at the tattooed male, "Hn... So troublesome."
"So... What's my prize?" Kiba grinned victoriously, showing off his slightly longer canines.
With a roll of his eyes, the pony tailed brunette leaned forward, lips meeting in a soft kiss. Shikamaru pulled back and out of the lax grip, smirking at the dazed look on the dog lovers face, "Maybe that's enough incentive for you to try a little harder for next time." He spoke over his shoulder as he headed back to his cloud gazing spot, leaving Akamaru with his stunned owner.
The End.
And there you have it. I love reviews and criticism is always welcome :) Thanks for reading!
