Numbers; crunching so many numbers. Blue cords and white cords connecting and disconnecting. One would give the average mind a huge mind blown headache, but others this was their language to speak in. Hackers saw the world differently than others, computers and networks were another world and their home at points. Clacking and slender fingers on the keyboard pounded the keys in near abusement and speed to get her prize. Thin brown braid hung off her shoulder bouncing now and then when her arms moved from the keyboard to another to her left, short bob messy brunette hair hung around her face parted to the left with bangs dangling just above her eyes. Bright blue eyes mistaken for the blue codes on the screen to be the color reflection, but those were real.

"Seriously, I can't let you be in here, hurry up!" A hushed voice came from behind her.

"You needed me, and this was the only free time I had before my flight." She told bluntly taking the soda on her right and sucking the straw. "Next time don't download the first ad you see that advises protection."

"Well, it's just a virus right? A simple scan and delete?" He asked hope in his tone.

She sighed and leaned back giving her fingers a quick break. "No, barely anyone does those anymore. They are sucking all the work information and possibly the bank accounts." Rubbing her arms covered with her red and black plaid hoodie, Karin Bishop returned to her cleansing work.

Viruses was something she was highly famerial with, hunting down hackers she was known for.

"What?! B-But my boss-"

"Shit…"

"...I don't think that's something I want to hear." He mumbled covering his face with his hands.

Karin rushed to her feet passing the male. "I'll be back!" She called grabbing her black side zipped leather jacket and sliding it on as she exited the building without none the wiser.

Maroon boots beat against the pavement, jeans keeping her warm of the cold eastern coast air. Living at the shore can have its perks, but when Fall and Winter arrived it became brutal for residents. Hey, at least tourist season is over. With Karin's Smartphone out giving her a pinpoint location of the hacker, she hopped onto her sleek silver motorbike and sped down the street swerving cars and avoiding possible deadly accidents. Karin is noted as a professional bike rider, doing illegal races in her teenage years, easier at catching criminals and getting away from them.

Karin looked to her phone seeing the target moving, she grinned. "Caught on, did you?" The motor roared as she sped up finding the muscle car bust out from an alleyway. Gun shots echoed out, but clearly missed her.

Her own gun holstered at the back of the rim of her jeans, she refused to take it out not wanting any bystanders hit. But with his own shooting, she'd have to take him down fast.

Karin caught up after a red light traffic slowed him down, she drove on his side finally removing her weapon. The male hacker aimed at her, but her own weapon was not the gun, but a small device. She pressed the button and a high pitch screeching beeping erupting from it causing the driver to scream in pain and cover his ears. The vehicle lost control and rammed right into a fire hydrant and stopped into a concrete blockade wall on the sidewalk. Her bike screeched to a stop as the second the car crashed she lifted her thumb off the button.

Citizens ran or slowly approached the scene as sirens blazed down the street in arrival. Karin sighed and took her phone out, hacking his own and returning the funds to the bank. With the cops arriving, she had no time to see if the hacker lived or to return to the bank. Karin revved her vehicle and sped out of sight only mere few minutes before cops arrived at the scene.

"I saw her! With my own eyes!"

"I know the high pitch anywhere, only she could've done it!"

"Reports are coming in from eyewitnesses that former police officer, Karin Bishop, was responsible for this afternoon's car accident. Senior operator of the Ocean Beach Bank had a word in on the incident."

"She was simply stopping a crime in progress. If it wasn't for her, we'd be sunk."

"Police have given their say that they do not approve work of this ex-cop and she will be taken in for her 'crimes'. Question is, where is she and how will they find her after ten years of searching?"

This was Karin Bishop's life; she was The Hound.
