Disclaimer: All I own is "Twigtown Tales", the Johnson family (shared with my sister THE BLUE), the Coreland Chronicles, and the "Scrapbook Stories". And if I'm smart, the latter two will NOT see the light of public screen or page until heavily edited. That last one especially… man, was I a weird, weird middle-schooler.
Thank goodness I didn't find out about this site until HS and took me another year or two to figure out how to join (yes, I'm THAT un tech-savvy)… thank you god. Seriously.
This is dated, let's see… probably August 27th 2011. Yeah, the 27th. Oh, after a review I do count "The Tardy Present" as my personal fanon as usual.
"All right, so this magic academy will be called Sowfreckles. Is that finalized?" sighed Bowen, in disbelief that he had just said that in all seriousness. Chip nodded excitedly while everyone else nodded in varying states of acceptance. Everyone was sitting at the round table with the crystal ball in the center in Rootcore.
"Moving on… with Daggeron on Mirinoi, Taylor has agreed to take over his basic swordplay and ethics classes," Nick gestured to the former Yellow Eagle Ranger. She waved to the others.
"Thanks for including me."
"No problem," smiled Udonna while her son studied the chart before him.
"So I've got archery and drawing classes, right?" Chip inquired. Vida gently slapped him upside the head.
"Of course. That and lightning magic."
"What classes are you teaching, V? Music, air magic and…"
"Transformational magic," Vida finished for him. "Since that was so popular, Madison is teaching some of those classes too along with film and water magic."
Her twin nodded, fiddling with her braid as she kept her eyes off the Red Mystic.
"I've got rock magic, plant magic, and mathematics."
"Potions, enchantments, and astronomy," beamed Clare. "I can't believe that I'm going to get to be a teacher!"
"I can," smiled Udonna. "I'm teaching snow and ice magic while Leanbow has advanced swordplay for the few that already know how to use a sword."
Her husband smiled. "Yep."
"Right: I've got motorcycle riding, fire magic, and dragon-ology."
"I've got magical herbs, magical creatures, and survival training," chimed in Phineas a heartbeat after Bowen. His girlfriend LeeLee added, "I've got history of magic, magical humanoids, and literature."
Bowen looked over at his older adoptive sister Kimberly. "And Kim here has gymnastics, karate, and history of Power Rangers."
"Yep," she beamed. Next to her Lily added, "I've got dance and cooking classes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday."
"Yep."
Looking around at this group of rag-tag magic teachers, Bowen shook his head wearily.
"This is going to be a weird school year."
"Yep!" cackled Chip. Bemused Kimberly warned him, "Just don't TP the school."
"Oh, don't worry- Tidus, Dustin, Gem, Gemma, and I got that all out of our systems," Chip assured the first Pink Ranger happily. Kimberly face-palmed. Her little brother felt like doing the same.
A school named Sowfreckles? Bowen was certain the only reason that the school was going to last for over a year was because the Solar Train would be picking up all the former Ranger kids so they could go to a school where they didn't have to hide their heritage. But they'd sure have fun as long as it lasted. When it wasn't total chaos, anyway.
