Authors Note:
Okay so this is my first ever fanfic and I want you to tell me how I do. Also, I have read a few fanfics and I came across one similar to this. I thought it was pretty good but it was moving through the story way to fast. So I thought I could make it better. I also added stuff that didn't seem to be in the story plus I only read about three short chapters so most of this is going to be my story.
The Heartfilia Journal
Lucy Pov:
Hi, I'm Lucy! It was a completely normal day with normal people and normal activities. I was just sitting on my bed listening to music on my I-pod when my phone rings. I quickly get up and walk to the other side of the room were my phone is laying on my desk under some papers. I look at the screen were the contact is shown, it say's "Mom".
I press the green answer button and say, "hey what's up?"
She answers back," I was wondering if you girls wanted anything while I am at the store."
"How about some pokys?" I replied, "I'll ask if Adel want's anything." I shouted from across the house, "hey Adel do you want anything from the store?"
"Nah" She shouted back, "I'm fine!"
"Okay if that's all, I love you girls" She confessed.
"I love you to", I confessed back, "I'll send on the message to Adel."
"Okay bye."
"Bye."
Just in case you're wondering Adel is my older sister by two years, I just turned thirteen and she's fifteen. She's nice on her good days but most of the time she can be a real pain in the ass. She has light brown mid-length hair and is gorgeous. I set my phone back down on the desk and went into the living room where Adel was sitting on the couch in a daze, her dark blue eyes opened wide. It wasn't just any daze she seemed to be putting some real thought into something and she looked concern and at the same time angry. I walked in front of her where she was staring so intently. She was so focused on whatever she was thinking about she didn't realize I was there.
I started to wave my hands rapidly around in front of her and started saying, "Adel… Adel… Adel."
She blinked and finally snapped out of it. When that happened she looked up at me with the most disrespectful look and said, "What is it the hell you want?"
I shook it off and got to the point. "Well for one mom told me to tell you she loves you."
"Why doesn't she tell me herself?" She snapped at me with an attitude and giving me an intense leave me the hell alone stare.
"Because she's at the store and she couldn't wait so she sent me, duh" I said sticking out my tongue. Adel rolled her eyes and sighed. "Secondly, I wanted to ask you something." There was a brief few seconds of awkward silence.
"Well what is it" She snapped.
I asked with a curious look on my face. "What was it you were just thinking about?"
"None of your damn business Lucy!" She snapped. "I hate it when you're always asking about shit that that doesn't concern you!"
"I'm sorry I asked." I apologized. I went back to my room and plugged my ear buds back into my ears and waited for mom to get home with my pokys. About thirty minutes later a horn beeps from outside signaling us to get our butts on the move and unload the grocery's.
After we put away all of the groceries and the three of us sat on the couch together my mom said. "Hey Luce."
"Yeah what is it mom?" I replied while biting into a poky.
"I've got something very special to tell you later on tomorrow night." When she said that Adel's eyes got slightly wider for a brief second. I thought about it for a second but I soon brushed it off as nothing important.
"Really what!?" I asked very excitedly.
"You'll find out soon enough, in the meantime, Adel." She sat up straight very shocked. "I got you a little something." She put her hand into her jean pocket and pulled out a $1000 gift card to her favorite shop, Jamie's. Adel looked slightly disappointed and irritated grasping hard onto the gift card. "It's all for you so go spend it all."
"Thanks… mom." She said unenthusiastically. "This means a lot."
"Are you sure you're okay with the gift I got you if not I'll take you out and get you something different…"
"No…No, this is great really." she said forcing a smile clutching the card tightly. "I'll go spend it right now actually."
"Okay… but make sure to spend it wisely." She said with a concern look on her face.
"I will." With that she grabbed her jacket and phone then rushed out the door. Mom went to the kitchen to get dinner started. While I went for a walk outside, it was a cold winter and the snow that was falling was so enchanting. I couldn't help myself from plopping on a pile of snow by my feet and make a snow angel. Looking up at the light blue sky covered with white puffy clouds. Then the strangest thing started to happen the white enchanting snow started to turn a dark grey. My phone started to ring I looked at the caller ID it was my good friend Levy.
I pressed the green button and said. "Hey are you seeing this?"
"Yeah it's crazy!" she replied. "Hey meet me at the usual spot ASAP!"
"Okay I'll be there soon give me five minutes." I responded.
Levy and I usually like to hang out at the park a few minutes away from my house. It has free WIFI a great view and it's a great place to have picnic. I cut the corner and turn down Wallabee road where WB Park was at. I saw Levy off in the distance at a small picnic table typing away on her laptop. She was always on that thing from looking up information to reading books Levy practically does it all as long as it involves her computer.
"Hey Levy!" I shouted from the distance waving my arms like a crazy person. She waved back smiling and signaled for me to hurry up. So I ran the rest of the way.
When I finally got to her she said. "You have to check this out there are crazy things happening all over town." I rotated the computer towards me and looked at all of the tabs Levy had on her screen. They were all news reports on the weather and other crazy disasters. The black snow, a fire on a large area caused by lightning on the South district, crazy strong gusts of winds that are tipping over cars on the North district! I then noticed something in the back of one of the photos that the channel 5 news posted on their page. In the very back of the photo next to a pawn shop you could see a figure, which looked vaguely familiar.
"Levy…" I asked. "Can you zoom in right there?" I said pointing to the figure.
"Sure I don't see why I can't! She said confidently moving her fingers preparing herself. When she zoomed it I was shocked I didn't understand why she would be there. Why are you over there Adel, the last time I checked there wasn't a Jamie's in that area.

So I bet you all are wondering what it is Lucy's mom wants to tell her, what's up with all this crazy weather and what is Adel doing caught up in one of them? You'll find out next time… So how did I do for my very first Fanfic, now I want you to tell me how I can improve this but try to be as nice as possible, like no cursing or anything but other than that just give me some pointers on how it can be improved.
