A tiny one shot thatonly took a few minutes so rough around the edges. Challenged by Joyfulewe.
The Wrong Type
Olivia laid in the hospital bed, alone and therefore desperately unhappy. It was a single bed and that only served as a reminder of her horrible sorrow caused by being without a man. To make it worse she needed a kidney. And fast.
If only there were someone who could perform such a selfless act...or dare I say - act of love? But alas, no-one cared about Olivia with that kind of depth.
Amanda walked in, looking worried. "Hey Liv, you look terrible. Have they not found a match yet?"
"No, it seems that the only match within 200 miles is my ex partner - but obviously he wouldn't give me a kidney."
"God no, his kidney would just hold you back in life Olivia! You'd be demoted and unadopt Noah, and stay single..FOREVER!" Amanda said in exaggerated horror.
Olivia laughed, "yes, but Tucker's coming by any minute. He said he is going to save me!"
"Thats wonderful Liv. At least you wont die single, and that's what matters." Amanda said.
On cue - almost as if he had been eavesdropping in some sexy not at all creepy fashion, Ed Tucker breezed in, bringing with him the sound of bells ringing as his glittering cape billowed easily behind him.
Amanda and Olivia sighed in unison at the site of such a glorious man.
"You're so lucky Liv." Amanda said dreamily as she gazed longingly at him.
"Ed! Can you really save me?" Olivia asked.
"I'm not the same blood type and even if I was I wouldn't give you a kidney, but I DID bring bourbon!" He said as he pulled out a bottle from somewhere underneath his cape. "A few shots of this and we can hook up and then you'll be saved - saved from a life of sobriety on the shelf of single failure."
Olivia smiled at Amanda, "where would I be without Ed."
