Hi! I made this a long time ago. It started out as junk. You know, to practice? Then, I figured, "Ooh, this could be one of those JasonxPiper fanfics." So here it is. It's pretty short.

Reviews are welcome. Thank you!

Enjoy!

They sit together on the front porch of Jason's house. Thalia is gone for the night and Piper's dad is asleep. He invites her over to his house. She waits until her dad is asleep. Once she is a hundred and ten percent sure, she sneaks out.

Sneaking out of the house is not hard to do. She has done that every summer whenever her best friend, Jason Grace, invites her over for star gazing. Every summer night, they would be outside, watching the stars illuminate the vast darkness of the sky.

Tonight is not different. Instead of watching the stars, she watches him. Her eyes pay attention to the littlest details about him. What she likes about him is his eyes. They're blue—bluest and most intensive she has seen. He lets them drift to the moon peeking out of the veil of clouds.

He runs a hand through his blond hair, which appears almost white in the moonlight. It seems every part of his body seems to illuminate. She notices this. She notices everything about him. She notices the moon-shaped scar on his upper lip, which looks cute on him. She knows how he got that. When Jason was two, he tried to eat a stapler. Even Piper thinks it's funny. She stifles a laugh, but stops herself.

"What's so funny?" Jason asks. Piper turns away so he can't see the faint blush that dusts the girl's cheek.

"I-I just remembered how you got the scar on your lip."

Now, it's Jason's turn to blush. Piper takes another glimpse of him. He's just so cute. Who can't resist him? Even if he does not notice, a lot of the girls are obviously flinging themselves at him. Piper knows she has no chance against these girls. They're all beautiful, elegant and great flirts. She's just Piper, who doesn't like dresses and dressing up. She's all about simplicity, despite the fact that her mother is the Greek Goddess of Love, Aphrodite.

Piper knows that Jason deserves someone better, even if it isn't her. She wants him happy. Maybe Jason wants her happy too.

"Piper," Jason turns to face her. The son of Jupiter takes a deep breath and is silent for a moment, as if he is contemplating.

He puts his hand behind Piper's head and places his lips on hers.

He's kissing her.

Everything happens so fast, even Piper can't take all her time processing what happened.

They're no fireworks or sparks or whatever people expect from their first kiss. It's just the butterflies fluttering in her stomach and the stars glittering above.

Jason pulls away first, "I love you, Piper."

The daughter of Aphrodite smiles, "I love you too."
