Drip…Drip…Drip " Sa.. Sakura are you ok?" cough ' wait I know that voice. NO! Naruto!' Sakura snapped her eyes open and quickly shut them again because of what she saw. Naruto had dozens of needles sticking form odd angles. Sa.. Sakura…needles poisoned…10 minutes to live (cough, cough)" Sakura could not believe that Naruto took the needles that were meant for her. So many questions were going through her head but she could not form a complete sentence. She settled for the one that would give her the most answers. "Why" He turned around slowly. Sakura gasped at what she saw. Naruto had blood dripping from his mouth and his eyes were starting to become clouded and unfocused. His only reply came in the form of a smirk and one word "love" She did not get it "What does love have to do with it?" With a small chuckle came a series of violent coughs spewing blood with each cough. When he regained enough strength to speak he said " for some one so smart you can be a baka some times you know that Sakura-chan. I did it cause I love you." "Why do you love me. I treated you like dirt. I never showed any kindness to you. Yet you still love me. Why?" Sakura whispered growing louder and louder till she was shouting. " Because I saw the mask you put up and what you were like under it. I saw the loving and caring person that I could love. The problem is I would have to get you to stop being a stupid fan girl. I was so focused on getting you that I ignored Hinata's feelings for me. Just cause I knew her father would have her killed instead of letting her be with me. Now quick you have to get out of here and tell Hinata that I am sorry that I never returned her love. I did love her but I had to get you to be the best you could be instead of a fan girl that could do nothing. Now grab Sasuke and get out of here I am going to take out all of them." Ok, bye love." With that she gave him a kiss on the lips and watched him blush ten different shads of red before she grabbed Sasuke and ran. 5 minutes later she heard an explosion from were Naruto was. She turned to see a huge swirl of red charka from were Naruto was left. Something small and black landed beside her. She grabbed it and gasped as she opened it. In side was a wedding ring with a large diamond on it. Inscribed on the inside were a few words that she could never forget 'to the one who was just like me and the one I loved with all my hart. Sakura Haruno' Sakura did the only thing she could she cried. She cried cause the one that loved her died. She cried cause she was to stupid to give up on the asswhole of an avenger that was Sasuke. She took the ring and put it on her finger with pride. When she got home she would change her last name to Uzumaki in memory of the goof that loved her so much that he gave up on his own happness.
