The Mienshao and the Zoroark

I have noticed an extreme lack in the crossovers between Beauty and the Beast category, so I decided to write my own! Also, this idea came to me recently and it only took me ten minutes to write this and figure everything out. Please enjoy!

Prolog

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince, a Zoroark, lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything he could ever want, the Zoroark was spoiled, selfish, and unkind. But one winter night, an old beggar Pokémon, a seemingly disfigured Jynx, came to the castle and offered him a single rose in exchange for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the Zoroark sneered at the gift and turned the old Pokémon away. But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for true beauty is found only within. And when he dismissed her again, her ugliness melted away to be replaced by a powerful Gardevoir, an enchantress of the land. The Zoroark tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love or kindness in his heart. As punishment, she placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there. This spell did not allow any to leave the castle grounds, except at night. In this sense, they would lose connection from the outside world and go back to the forms that their ancestors had once had. The Zoroark, ashamed at what he had done to done, causing others to suffer with him, concealed himself in the castle, with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose the Gardevoir had offered him was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom for several years. If he could learn to truly love another, and earn her love in return, then the spell would be broken. But if not, those in the castle would suffer a terrible fate and the Zoroark would truly become a beast. But as the years past, he fell into despair, and lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love, a beast?

Only the prolog done, but I'm working on the next chap already. Please bear with me. And thanks for reading, please review~
