The car suddenly came to a stop, and he knew they had finally got to where they were headed. The huge house, with the huge in-the-ground pool and stable in the back yard, was the location. The air was just right, hot, with a barly recognizable breeze. It was a perfect day for a birthday party.
He stepped out of the car, as well did the people he car-pooled with. "Man, this is gonna be great. We finally get to have some fun!" Takeda, the blue-haired boxer, said as he streched his arms, allowing his olive-skin to be meet by the bright sun. Kross sighed. Although he had gotten used to his friends personallities, he still got annoyed by their overly happy nature. Except for hers, of course, because that's what made her...well...her. The birthday girl was his closest friend, and he couldn't have been more happy to see her. Her name was Alex.
"Hey you guys!" Karcy bounded out of the house to greet them. Karcy was only 12, and was half-cat. Alex treated her like a sister, and hated when people made fun of the young girl. "Hey Karcy!" Renji said as he high-fived her. Renji had long crimson red eyes, and chocolate-brown eyes. "Come on you guys, I need your help with furniture re-arrangments. Alex's Mom is at Shop-Rite getting more food, and she trusted me with the furniture. So get your butts in gear!" She ran into the house, and Renj and Takeda just looked at each other and chuckled. "Hey, Kross?" He looked at Takeda and sighed. His long black hair made him feel even hotter, and he suddenly wanted to be air conditioned. "Uh, lets go you guys." They looked towards the house, and saw through the window to Aex's room. Her window was open, and they could hear music blasting from her sterio. She was moving stuff around, probably for people to leave their stuff in.
They laughed a little, and went inside to help Karcy.
