Prelude
Present day America and the X-men still fight the battle between mutants and humans. Humans are getting more and more reluctant about sharing their world with the ones they call "Freaks." Professor Xavier and his team are the only ones that will try and compromise with the human race. Others will try and lead a "mutant revolution" to take over and create a mega race.
Just as the war was about to break loose, another threat to both humans and mutants alike appeared on the scene. Apocalypse, the most powerful mutant in the world, woke up from his prison. He quickly regained strength and led a revolt against earth. For ten long years the mutant race waged war against the great Apocalypse. Unfortunately the war was lost and the X-men died, and the great Apocalypse took over to become the supreme ruler of everyone.
As years went by, Apocalypse imprisoned most mutants and controlled every aspect of the human's world. Fortunately many of the mutants took into hiding and started to live in the sewers. Many years went by and the mutants got stronger. They started preparing for a revolt that would lead them into a war to take back the world that was once theirs. Of course there were those mutants that sided with Apocalypse.
As these things unfolded, the world turned into utter chaos. Mutants were performing suicide attacks on the army of Apocalypse, and many casualties took place on both sides. Many of the humans were being enslaved into fighting and those that rejected the idea were killed on spot.
All hope was lost for peace in the world until a prophesy made by the great Charles Xavier came true. Three mutant triplets were born. These mutant triplets could control the fate of the world. Thus there names were the Fates. But until their powers manifested, the world was still in danger. The world would have to wait for 13 long years until the three developed their abilities. Until then the war would go on, and here is where we start the story of what the world under Apocalypse's rule was like.
