Legault's being an annoyance again. He's teasing Heath, making fun of him, and it grates on Heath's nerves more than usual.

Heath tries to tune him out, he really does, and it actually works for a little while until he catches the end of a sentence, some fragment, and the implication that his and Commander Vaida's relationship is more than that of what a soldier and commander's is supposed to be just makes him snap.

Legault's barely opened his mouth before Heath crushes his own against it.

The kiss only lasts a moment, but they're both left breathless and surprised from it despite it's brevity.

"You just… you just don't know when to stop, do you?"

Heath finds himself gripping Legault's shoulders far harder than he should.

A pause, still somewhat shocked, then a roguish grin. "No, I suppose I don't."

The only reason Heath kisses him again is to wipe that smirk off his face. Really.
