Introduction

One day, Kami told the mouse, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, boar, cat and fox, "I invite all of you to a party tomorrow. And on no account be late."

But the sly fox wanted to be there the earliest, so it woke up in the middle of the night without waking it's neighbors and sneaked all the way to Kami's house.

When its got there, the party wasn't set up yet. The silly fox assumed that the first one to reach the party could help out by setting up the setting up the party. So, the silly fox got to work. It worked all night hoping to impress Kami with what it has done.

Later in the morning, Kami woke up knowing he has alt to work on to do for the party. But to his surprise, he found a 'Fox Number One' themed party set up in his back yard. Knowing the most obvious culprit, Kami approached the busy fox.

The fox was still adding some finishing touches to the set up. When the fox saw Kami, it thought that Kami would compliment and reward it for being the first to arrive AND 'helping out'.

But something seemed wrong. Kami didn't look too happy. Instead, Kami looked furious. The fox suspected something wrong so it asked Kami what made him so furious. Kami told the poor fox that what it assumed right were all wrong.

So as punishment, the fox was made an outcast and sent away from the other juunishi animals. (It's punishment was even worse then the cat's)

And so, Kami tore down the whole set up and with a snap of his fingers, a new set up was built and this time, it was themed with all the juunishi animals. Later after that, the line of party guests arrived starting from the rat, followed by the ox, then the tiger, the rabbit and so on. –END-
