The ninja met on deck with Sensei.
"So what did you want to talk to us about, Sensei?" Jay asked.
"There is will be a new ninja." He answered.
"A NEW NINJA?!" they all said in sync.
"Yes,"
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go to Ninjago City to find this new ninja!" Cole said.
"Actually, the new ninja is not in Ninjago. I sense that he or she is in Denver, in the United States." Sensei said
"The US! When do we leave?" Zane asked.
"Tomorrow, so pack your things." The ninja left to go pack their belongings.
"Why can't we just take the bounty to Denver?" Jay asked.
"Because we don't want to draw attention to ourselves, and taking a flying ship would do the exact opposite." Kai said.
"Why don't we just take a plane to Denver?" Lloyd suggested. Everyone except for Zane agreed.
"No! We can't do that!" He panicked.
"Why not? You live on a flying ship Zane. You aren't afraid of heights." Kai pointed out.
"No, I am not afraid of heights. But I am afraid of going through security at the airport," Zane explained.
"Why?" Jay asked. Zane sighed.
"Because not only do our bags have to go through metal detectors when going through security, but we do as well. I can't go through metal detectors, because I'd rather not have to reveal my secret of being a nindroid to the public!" Zane replied. He had a point there. If he went through those metal detectors, who knows what could happen to him.
"Oh right!" Jay remembered. He'd forgotten that Zane was a nindroid.
"So how are we going to get to Denver?" Cole asked the question remaining on everyone's mind.
"Oh, I have an idea!" Lloyd exclaimed. The other ninja, the samurai, and the Sensei turned to him.
"What is it?" Nya asked.
"What if we disguise the Bounty as a normal cruise ship and sail across the sea to the States?" Lloyd suggested.
"That's a great idea Lloyd!" Kai praised. Everyone agreed. Soon, the flying ship looked like a regular cruise ship. They had taken down the main sail and decided to use the rocket engines as a normal motor to sail across. It took a few hours, but they soon arrive in Manhattan harbour.
"Good luck ninja. (A/N: Hehe, get it?) Find the new ninja. See you soon!" Sensei Wu reminded them.
"Wait Sensei, aren't you coming?" Jay asked.
"No, I shall take the Bounty back to Ninjago, so a giant ship left unattended in New York doesn't raise any alarm. Call me when you have found the new ninja, then I will return for you." The Sensei explained. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Okay, be safe Sensei." The ninja chorused.
"You too ninja." With that, he left, as people were trying to climb aboard the Bounty.
Time skip- at the Denver Park
The ninja looked around for someone who could help us get to the nearest hotel. They saw a family with five kids. Three were teenagers, and two looked to be under the age of 5, and their parents.
They walked over to them.
"Excuse me? We would like to know where the nearest hotel is from here." Zane said.
"There isn't one for miles. Do you need somewhere to stay?" The mother said.
"Yes,"
"Well, you can stay with us. I think some guests would be lovely." She said. The others agreed.
"Okay thanks."
