This story is about Mogami Kyoko & Tsuruga Ren & how I think their first kiss should have went.

One Shot—Kiss
They were eating lunch together. Something they did almost every day.
Ren looked up, & after making sure she wasn't looking, gave Kyoko a soft smile. He was afraid that, if she saw him, his feelings would be obvious.
Unaware she was being admired, Kyoko sat smiling, thinking about her new role with Ren.
While watching her eat across from him, Ren thought to himself, I wonder why she's smiling like that... So cute. Maybe I should say something to her. But what?
Kyoko grinned triumphantly. This time I am sure I can lead him with my acting. I have you now, Tsuruga-san-senpai.
A few moments later, Ren noticed Yashiro approaching the table. "Hello, Mogami-san. Ren, hate to interrupt, but we're going to be late for your afternoon appointment. I'll meet you by the door."
At this common sign that lunch was over, Kyoko stood up to leave & turned to say goodbye, when Ren reached out & gently caught her wrist in his hand, startling her with the physical contact.
"Mogami-san?", he started hesitantly.
"Yes, Tsuruga-san?"
"I have something important I want to speak to you about."
"Oh? That's good! I wanted to speak to you, as well."
"I...", he froze. How was he supposed to put this?
"What?" She looked up curiously, waiting.
"Oh, Hell!", he muttered. Throwing caution & his usual careful steps to the wind, he leaned forward & brushed a short, soft but very tantalizing kiss across her lips.
Kyoko nearly melted into the kiss. She hadn't expected it, but the slight shaking she felt in her legs & the light blush she felt coloring her cheeks proved how wonderful it felt. Except for the nagging in the back of her head. It was wrong Wrong WRONG. Wasn't it? He was her respected senpai. She should not be doing this, no matter how good it felt. With that thought in mind, but ignoring the last half of it, she pulled away breathing hard.
"What do you think you are doing, Tsuruga-san?", she demanded.
"Kissing you.", he said, wearing a small smile.
"Well, yeah. I figured that out myself. What I want to know is why?" She couldn't fathom a reason that would bring him to do that. She watched him closely & waited for his answer.
"Because I have wanted to for a long time now.", he said simply. Ren then got up to leave, saying good bye & leaving a stunned Kyoko at their table.
After he was out of sight, all Kyoko could do was stand there, touching her lips softly with her fingers. Finally she answered his simple statement to herself. "Oh."
