James Potter has it all, he has a son named Harry who is going to going to be Head of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter, a wife named Andromeda who he has been in a relationship since she was introduced to him by her cousin and he has a daughter named Dora who is a Metamorphmagus.
The only problem is that that his son, Harry, has applied for the role of Flying Instructor at Hogwarts, a role in which he was more qualified for than the other applicant, former Gryffindor Keeper Ronald Weasley, having been Seeker for Gryffindor, Quidditch Captain and the youngest member of the English World Cup which had just gotten through to the semi-finals of the 1998 World Cup.
Watching as his son returned home with his girlfriend, Penelope Clearwater, a former Ravenclaw student and official within the Department of Magical Games and Sports within the Ministry of Magic, he could see that the couple were extremely happy, especially as Harry was carrying a bottle of champagne that he had obtained from a Muggle liquor store.
"Did you get the job?" Dora asked, her hair flashing through the colours of the rainbow.
"Of course I did dear sis." Harry said, smiling, his shirt all over the place, untucked in parts. "I pissed all over Weasley and his attempts to screw me over."
"HARRY JAES POTTER. WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!" Andromeda said, picking up her wand to cast a mouth cleaning charm. "You're not too young to have your mouth scrubbed out with soap and hot water."
"Sorry mom. If you will excuse me, I need to…erm…do some work upstairs." Harry said, turning to Penelope. "Come on Penny, lets…work…"
Knowing that his son was going to be spending some private time with his girlfriend, James let Harry and Penelope head upstairs, knowing that he would have cast a selection of silencing charms.
As he watched Dora straighten her short skirt, he was annoyed as he knew that she was about to go on a date with his friend, Remus Lupin, and that she had already slept with each other. The only problem was that he was unable to prohibit her from going on these dates.
'I just hope that nothing else weird happens in my family!'
