"Minerva, where are you going?" asked Dumbledore.

"Down to Professor Hagrid's," said Minerva McGonagall.

"For what, may I ask?"

"Tea," said Minerva. "Simply tea," she reminded herself. It was just tea. Nothing more.

"Oh," said Dumbledore.

Minerva quickly walked down to Rubeus's house. She knocked on the door.

"Come in," said Rubeus in his gruff voice.

Minerva stepped in. "Hello," she said.

"Oh, hi!" he greeted her.

"Hello," she said. "I've come for tea."

"Yes, tea," said Rubeus. He brought her a cup. "Tea," he said.

Minerva picked up the cup and drank from it.

"Oh yeah, there's Felix Felicis in it," said Rubeus happily. "I've already had some."

So that was why she had suddenly felt to happy. She felt like nothing could go wrong. So she kissed him. He was sitting down, but his chair jumped back two feet when it happened.

"Wh-why, Minerva... I wasn' expectin' that..."

"Neither was I," she said.

Then she sat on his lap. He was a huge man (half-giant) and she felt like a child again. Rubeus put his hands on her back and rubbed it.

"Ahh... I love you, Rubeus. I have loved you ever since I met you."

"Me too," said Rubeus as he kissed the top of her head.

"I really should be going. What will Dumbledore say? I've been gone far too long."

"Yeah, I suppose you're righ'. You can leave."

"Thank you for the tea," said Minerva.

"Welcome," said Rubeus.

Minerva started slowly back to the Hogwarts castle. That tea with Rubeus had perhaps been the best tea she had ever had.
