Twisted

Claudia Zaccarah fell against her bathroom door, tear tracks streaming down her cheeks as she stared at the pregnancy test that she held in her shaky hands. This wasn't supposed to happen to her. She wasn't the type of person who was supposed to have a family. She was a ZACCARAH for god's sake! If she had this child the innocent baby would be cursed with the Zaccarah name. He or she would be respected but out of fear not genuine at all. They'd be terrified for their life because carrying her last name certainly meant danger and enemies and people wanting to kill you.

But....She couldn't just go and get an abortion. That---in her eyes was murder as well. She could never intentionally harm a child. She was responsible for her husband of convenience's thirteen year old son being in a coma he might never fully recover from, how much worse would she feel if she got an abortion?

The worst part of all this was...her baby's father could be one of two people. Her husband of convenience, Sonny Corinthos----or his half brother Ric Lansing. No matter who the father was,she knew it would cause even more friction between the two brother's already strained relationship.

Perhaps she could run off to Switzerland or something. She could get Damian Spinelli, the Assasain of Cyber Space to help her change her name and get her a fake ID. His little friend,Maxie Jones could help her change her looks so she and her child wouldn't be found. But she couldn't just abandon her brother again like when she was a teenager and risk not seeing him for years. And she had to protect Johnny from their insane father.

So there was only one decision,to put her child up for adoption. It would break her heart, but atleast an innocent little being would be safe.

She heard footsteps on the stairs and Ric calling her name. Standing up,wiping the tears from her eyes and her face and plastering a smile on her face as she through the test in the trash before exiting the bathroom. For now she wasn't going to tell him her news nor was she going to tell Sonny. She'd dealt with enough drama for the night already and could not deal with any more. Her hand drifted down to her still flat stomach as she imagined what life would be like if she were able to keep this precious gift that she already loved so much.
