This story has been stuck in my head for weeks and I finally had a chance to get it out. Sorry its so short. I promise to add more soon. Please review.

Max flipped the keycard to Terry's room in her hand. She was sure what she wanted to do but in her head. She'd gone over possible scenarios of what could happen

if she stayed in her own room or if she went to his. While they had been friends for years she knew she couldn't be truly happy just being his friend. She let out a deep

sigh as she left her room. The elevator ride was short since Terry's room was one floor up. As she walked the hallway seemed to go on forever. She was looking for room

617. She was only at room 602 and 603. As she walked further she could feel herself getting anxious. She tried to convince herself that there was nothing to be nervous

about, that it was just Terry. The man she was head over heels for. What was to be nervous about she hung out with Terry all the time but tonight was different. During

dinner she caught him staring at her several times. And then there was the way he gave her the keycard to his room. She looked at the room numbers again and saw

room 618. She turned her head and saw Terry's room. As she turned to face the door she could feel her stomach in knots. She looked at the card in her band before

knocking on the door. She waited with baited breath for the door to open. She could hear footsteps coming towards the door. She looked at the floor as the door opened.

When she looked up she had to catch her breath. Terry was standing in front of her still in his suit and tie. She forced a smile as she handed him his keycard. "Come in."

He said as he stepped aside letting her in.

It had been six days earlier when Terry caught up to Max as she was leaving school. He'd asked her to escort him on an out of town trip with Wayne

"Why don't you ask Dana?" Terry stopped walking. Max looked at him shrugging her shoulders. "Sorry I forgot." She bit her bottom lip to keep from laughing at her

embarrassment.

"It's more business then pleasure," He looked around to make sure to make sure no one could hear. "I busted something in the plane while on patrol so it needs to

be repaired and Lucius Fox is making a modification to the suit. Plus I don't want to spend the entire weekend with Wayne and Fox." Max raised her eyebrows in curiosity

"I didn't know the Foxes knew the Wayne secret." Terry shoved his hands in his pocket.

"They don't. Just father and son. We're meeting Lucius Fox Jr. So are you coming with or are going to make me suffer with the old man."Terry used his best puppy dog

eyes and pouted. She stopped walking and pretended to hesitate. Terry started to become frustrated until Max smiled. Terry sighed in relief.

"When do we leave?"

"Thursday after school," Terry started walking backwards towards the school. "That gives you plenty of time to go shopping for something cute and a dress for dinner." Max

watched Terry as he went back into the school. Truth of the matter was that Terry had over heard something he shouldn't have and wanted to confront Max about it.
