I'm thinking of making this around 5 chapters long.
Please review - I'm so new at this and it would be nice to get some help.
Perfect Planning
Draco Malfoy was obsessed with his social standing. He has to be at the top. And he nearly was, only Harry Potter stood in his way. He knew he had to do something big to gain that top spot. He was always planning how to do it. Give to charity? – He'd tried that, but nothing happened. Dating the hottest models? – Of course. But it seemed the wizards of the world didn't care.
It wasn't as if he could sabotage Harry in any way either. They had become close friends – forever getting wasted in bars together. He helped Harry when he couldn't deal with the stress of being a father. He had even helped when Harry finally admitted to Ginny that he was gay. He'd gone as far as to help him hook up with Ron.
Because of all this Draco was as close to Harry as Hermoine was. He couldn't really say as close as Ron, he was straight after all. So regular meet ups were required. The four got along fine, with the odd scathing comments coming from either Ron or Draco.
Today they were going ice-skating. Harry had had to plead for weeks for them to go, he just loved it. Nobody else was really any good at it, but they decided to give in. So here they were, putting on their skates. Harry said he wanted to stay as a group today, but as soon as he got on the ice he sweeped Ron away, leaving Draco and Hermoine. Goddamn Harry! He was always doing this to Draco; it was like he wanted the two of them to get together! Preposterous, thought Draco.
But then his mind started to kick in. Oh yes, this could be a brilliant plan.
Confidently, Draco took Hermoine by the hand and lead to her round the rink.
Hermoine's heart started to pound. Oh my goodness, his hand was so much softer than she thought it would be. She just hoped her crush on him wouldn't be found out.
