I looked down at my sleeping son and completely forgot everything for a minute. I was blown away by the beautiful boy in my arms. Then I remembered what I was doing and where I was going, and I continued to walk. I heard the fox's howl and felt my son stir. I looked down at him again and saw that he was awake now. He looked at me with Bright blue eyes, they crossed for a moment before he blinked and closed his eyes again. I stroked his cheek and it and it caused him to open his eyes again and he smiled his first smile. I couldn't help but smile too. Even though I knew this might be the last time I ever see him I continued to walk.
And as a watch
You start to grow up
All I can do
Is hold you tight
Oh how I just want to leave and not do this. To just hide and keep Naruto safe. But I'm Hokage and this is my duty. I knew this was going to hurt me and my son, but I kept walking and held Naruto tightly.

There was a storm coming in the distance. Naruto looked up at me again with a look of confusion on his little face. I kissed his forehead and looked up noticing we weren't far away from the fox demon. I held Naruto closer to me.

It began to rain when reached the demon and I set Naruto down on and spread out the blanket he had been wrapped up in. Naruto opened his eyes and began to cry because of the shock of cold air. Hearing him crying, my perfect boy I almost grabbed him and left, but then I heard people screaming and knew there was no other way.
"I'm sorry son." I said knowing this would be the last time he ever saw me.
With tears in my eyes I took out the scroll and began to paint the sign on Naruto's belly he looked at me like 'are you crazy what are you doing' I smilied and said
"It will be okay son you'll be okay."
I then did the signs and I saw the Demon was screaming and then it was quiet. I felt all my chakara leave my body all at once. I fell backwards and I knew I was dieing. I looked for Naruto. When I found him I saw that he was crying. I tried to move, but I couldn't. When I found my voice I said.
"Goodbye Na-Naruto I-I love you and I'm S-sorry." Naruto was the last thing I saw before my eyes closed for the last time on this Earth.
