"It's Time" Clara said to Ashildr after their umpteenth adventure together.

Ashildr looked up at her alarmed, "Are you sure? I mean there's still time, you don't have to go yet"

"Yes, I do" Clara replied, "I can feel it, i'm sorry Ashildr". The two had become quite close during their adventures and considered each other sisters.

Ashildr focused on steering the tardis to the final destination attempt to staunch the tears threatening to pour from her eyes. Clara reached over and wrapped her in a hug that just managed to make her feel colder inside knowing this would be the last one.

The tardis landed and Clara stepped out, glancing back at Ashildr who was standing at the dash.

"I finally understand why the Doctor worked so hard to prevent this moment" Ashildr whispered tears flowing from her eyes now.

Clara stepped into the raven path with one whispered word that Ashildr managed to hear. "GoodBye"

Clara gasped as the raven hit her, mouth open in a silent scream as she fell to her knees. Darkness enveloped her.

She woke up lying on the floor of the Tardis and prepared to berate Ashildr for saving her when her breath caught in her throat because across the control room was her Doctor, the 11th regeneration staring at her but yet not seeing her.

"Hello Doctor" she whispered as she crossed the control room to stand in front of him.

She reached over and stroked his cheek, he looked so young now.

He glanced up and though he couldnt see her, felt her presence, "Clara" he breathed out.

Clara said "I'm sorry Doctor, but this is the final goodbye", his eyes widened and he quickly replied, "Clara no, what have you done!" but it was too late and she had already faded away. Her time was up.

"No, Clara, No!" 11 said racing across the control room flicking levers and pushing buttons as he passed. The Tardis groaned her familiar groan that didn't manage to bring hope as it usually did.

He burst out of the Tardis and ran into the Maitlands house. "Doctor" the younger Clara looked up in surprise. "It's not wednesday yet" she said in confusion.

He stopped, knowing this wasn't the same clara, "I just… had to see you" He said

"Doctor" She said "What's going on? You look terrified." "Nothing yet" He said, "and never if i can help it"
