Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet

Chapter one: Yes, no, maybe so

Juliet sat in her room, waiting for Romeo to pick her up. It had been a few months since they'd started dating and Juliet really felt they should take the next step; marriage. Even though she had just recently celebrated her 15th birthday, she felt confident that they were mature enough. Last year had been her lucky break when she landed the part of the leading lady for Plaque's movie. The agreement had been that whoever got the part of the two main characters would be the name of the new movie. On top of her winning she fell in love with Romeo. She sat as she became reminiscent about that day, their encounter. Juliet with her straight blonde hair and brown eyes stared at her partner the leading man Romeo. He was a handsome stranger most definitely, dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. She had caught herself rudely staring at Romeo and so she quickly decided to look away her eyes, but then snuck a quick look at Romeo again. Their eyes locked and she saw Romeo excuse himself and walk over to her.

"Hello my name is Romeo," he said with a courteous bow, an English gentleman.

"Juliet." She said barely whispering the words; she had spoken so quietly, being coy.

"Then I guess the movie's title will be Romeo and Juliet." Romeo said with an air of elegance.

"Has a ring to it, don't you think?" asked Juliet turning around to get a glass of water.

"I suppose… Juliet!" said Romeo with a devilishly, charming smile.

Juliet always loved the way Romeo said her name, he made it sound so beautiful.

"Who're you thinking about?" asked Rosaline asked holding a mug of steaming cocoa.

"Romeo!" replied to Juliet, filled with love and adoration.

"No surprise." Said Rosaline rolling her eyes and she tried to cool down her cocoa.

"Hey, you could be more supportive you know." Said Juliet as pretended to be hurt by her best-friend could be so insensitiveness.

"Bite me." Rosaline retorted with a smile.

"Hey love!" greeted Romeo kissing Juliet's cheeks and giving Rosaline a hug.

"It's nice to feel remembered!" said Rosaline after receiving her hug.

"Your welcome!" Romeo said. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah, I'll go grab my bag." Juliet replied as she ran off to fetch her bag.

"So where you going to take her tonight?" Rosaline asked with curiosity.

"To le forte for dinner and a stroll!" replied Romeo.

"Nothing special planned for tonight? No bigger picture?" asked Rosaline with an arched eyebrow.

"Nope… why is she hoping for something?" asked Romeo not getting the hint.

"Ok, let's go!" called out Juliet adjusting her bag strap. "Bye Rose!"

"Bye Rose!" said Romeo with a wink and a cheeky smile,
