"It's all my fault…" the boss said, staring solemnly at his deceased companion, "I should have known you couldn't take them all out on your own."

Johnny did not reply on account of him being a zombie and all; the only word he could manage to pronounce was 'braiinnnsss,' which isn't very effective in a conversation. "We could have helped you…then we would've all gotten off that plane together…" he continued, his heart heavy with guilt.

The boss then walked over to his black bulldog, ignoring the screams of an innocent bystander who had fallen victim to zombie gat's superhuman strength. He got into his car and watched the pedestrian's lifeless body slide across the pavement with a gaping hole in their chest, where Johnny's fist had been. The boss then motioned for his devotee to follow. "You're a real asshole, you know that?" he said with a chuckle.

Gat gave a warm smile. Of course he couldn't speak, but that didn't mean he couldn't understand. As the two drove, the boss couldn't help but think of all the things people told him about keeping zombie gat.

"You know you can't keep that thing around, right?" pierce nagged.

"One of these days you'll have to learn to let go…" shaundi said.

"We can't keep him, it's too dangerous. He just punched out one of our wannabes!" kinzie yelled.

The boss knew he couldn't hold on to gat forever, but they've been through so much together, he couldn't thing of being the lead saint without Johnny by his side. Of all the friends he's lost, he never thought Johnny would be one of them. He's been shot in the knee, stabbed in the gut with a samurai sword, and stabbed a second time in the same place by Phillipe Loren. "That bastard, Phillipe," the boss thought, "I wish we could have kicked his ass a little bit before we killed him…"

The boss then looked at Johnny, who had been staring at him the whole time; as if he already knew where they were headed. As the boss and Johnny drove, the amount of stag enforcers roaming the streets began to increase. The quantity of stag enforcers reached it's peak when they approached a raised bridge. Instead of yielding at the request of the stag officers, the boss made a dramatic increase in speed, and drove right over the bridge into Arapice Island. They drove to the centre of the infested land, watching the undead limp, crawl, and trot alongside the jet black bulldog. When the boss and gat reached their destination, they were swarmed by zombies. They shot them all with the boss' level 4 tombstone shotguns, then exited the vehicle. After get got out, the boss took his shotgun back, and stared wistfully at his old partner in crime. He then aimed the shotgun at a zombie in the distance and like an attack dog, Johnny sprung at the chance for a kill. The boss got back into his car and prepared to abscond. But before he departed, he took one last look at his old friend. When gat finished mangling the body, the boss set off for home.

On his way back, the boss took out his cell phone and scrolled through his contacts list. First, he called shaundi. "I did it…" he said somberly.

"Are you gonna be okay?" she asked, having sympathy for her boss.

"Yeah, I'll be alright…" he said, "I'm gonna miss that crazy bastard…"

The boss then hung up the phone, and continued to look through his phone numbers. There, at the very bottom had a picture of a face distorted almost beyond recognition; eyes white, no pupils. The name of the contact read, 'zombie gat.' He smiled at the picture. "For now…" the boss said, growing a sly grin.
