First things first: this story is slightly more "reader driven", in the case that Fakemon come from you, on my forum, which is accessible from my profile. Not too far down on there, there is a link to my forums. Just click that, and do what you want! Oki doki Loki? Now, I don't own anything except for the starters, Equuconiform, Liorag branch, and Garoil branch. Oh, and most OCs.

"Bet you five Pokemon dollars that you can't beat me there!" the brunette shouted, her long hair trailing behind her. Her black eyes glinted as she ran, her black and green long pants getting muddy. Her forest-colored shoes were already swamped when she stopped and fell to the ground, getting her gloves and matching jacket dirty with mud and grass.

"Shut up, greeny-girl. You only won because you cheated!" a blond boy said as he sat down next to her, his spiky hair drooping. He wore a red and black outfit of a trench coat, tank top, shorts, and gloves. He panted and looked at her with pale violet eyes. "What Pokemon are you getting?"

"I don't know, but probably the one with that's hot headed!" she said, laughing. "What're you getting, Agni?"

Agni looked over at his friend, Lin. She smiled as he answered. "Probably the calmer one. Whichever that one is."

"Hi, I'm Aysu," a dark grey haired girl said as she walked up. Her hair was curly and had two little pigtails sticking up, and she had deep blue eyes. Her blue and white dress and jacket stood out against her pale skin, and on her hip was a belt with an orange pouch.

"Well, hello!" Lin said as she got up. Agni did the same, but he bowed in greeting.

"Are you two here to get Pokemon too? The professor is part of an exchange program currently, so we have a lovely man staying with us instead," Aysu said, hiding her arms behind her back. "His name is Sycamore, and I'm sure you've heard of him."

"You're Miss Fern's assistant, aren't you?" Lin asked. Aysu nodded.

"And here are the Pokemon you can pick from."

The grey-haired girl opened a small box, revealing three basic Poke balls. They popped open one by one as she tossed them up. First was a little yellow-green Pterodactyl with little conifer seeds at the end of its long tail. It opened its mouth, revealing four little fangs. It stared up with beady black eyes.

"This is Ptergrectyl, the Evergreen Reptile Pokemon," Aysu said. "He's a bit feistier than the others. He really likes to battle, too."

Next was an orange cat with black stripes. Fire ran down its tail and its ears. Its paws had giant tufts made of fire, and its eyes were bright and red. Fire danced around its head as it sat down.

"Pyromatrania, the Pyromania Pokemon. She's a bit…off. She doesn't do much, really."

Lastly, a pale blue snake appeared; his appearance was simple. He had a small, sharp horn on his nose and two on his head. His yellow, serpentine eyes glinted.

"This is Watelampode, the Watersnake Pokemon. He's a little bit of a wimp, to tell you the truth. But he's speedy, that's for sure. So, which one do you pick?"

Lin immediately scooped up Ptergrectyl, smiling at him. "I'll call you George, k?"

"Krrrrrow," George replied. Lin took the ball and put it in her pocket. Agni patted Pyromatrania on the triangular shaped stripe on her head, but she stared at him blankly. Aysu picked up Watelampode, stroking his head softly.

"Any nicknames?" Agni asked. Pyromatrania stayed silent. Aysu laughed as Watelampode wrapped around her waist.

"This is Speedster," she said. Speedster gave a soft 'hissh'. "So, anyone want to battle?"
