Chapter 1: My first day at Seiyo Elementry
I sighed as I walked through the gates of Seiyo Elementry. It had been hard moving to Japan from America. "I barely can speak Japanese. Thank god for Rosetta Stone." I thought. I headed to my classroom. "Let's see, in anime and manga, the new kid always walks in after the teacher introduces the fact they have one." I thought. I stood outside the door, waiting for my cue. "Class, I heard a teacher say, we have a new student today. Please come in." he said. I opened the door, and walked in. I stood infront of the sea of eyes, watching me, examining my every move. "Please introduce yourself to the class." the teacher said to me. I took a deep breath. "Hi! My name is Dennae Taylor!" I said louder than needed. The class stared at me. "Oh no...! Did I- did I say something wrong?" I thought scared. "Whoa, she's so cool!" I heard a girl whisper. I stood there, smiling. "Please have a seat." the teacher said, who I soon learned his name was Nikaidou-senpai. I walked down the aisle, as the flood of eyes followed my steps. I sat down behind a girl with pink hair. She turned around and smiled at me. "Huh. How nice... WAIT A DARN SECOND! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS IN ANIME AND MANGA! THE NEW GIRL ARRIVES, AND THEN THERE'S ALWAYS THIS ONE GIRL WHO ACTS SUPER NICE, BUT SHE REALLY ISN'T! SHE BEFRIENDS THE NEW GIRL AND THEN SHE DROPS HER LIKE A SWEATY GYM SOCK!" I thought. Before I knew it, the school day had ended. I started to get up when the pink haired girl turned around. " Hi, my name is Amu Hinamori." she said, smiling. "H-hi." I said, not convinced by her niceness. Do you want to come with me to The Royal Garden?" she asked. "The what?" I asked, dumbfounded. Amu stood up and held out her hand. "Come on!" she said. She dragged to The Royal Garden. We walked in. I stared at what was inside. "W-what the hell is this?" I thought. We walked up some steps to a table and sat down. There were already some people there. A boy with blond hair smiled at me. "Let us introduce ourselves." he said. "I'm the King's chair, Tadase Hotori." This is my guardian character, Kiseki." Tadase said. "Whoa, his eyes are really pretty. Sorta red-violet or red or magenta!" I thought. "I'm the Queen's chair, Rima Mashiro. This is my guardian character, Kusukusu." she said "Whoa, she has really long blond curly hair. Almost like a foreigner, only her eyes are brown. She's kinda cold though." I thought. "Ace's chair, Yaya Yuiki. This is my guardian character, Pepe." she said. "She acts kinda young for her age. Her brown pigtails are cute. I like the ribbons. She has pretty brown eyes too." I thought. "Jack's chair, Nagehiko Fujisaki. This is my guardian character, Rhythm." he said. "Whoa, he looks like a girl kinda. With that long dark purple/blue hair. Pretty brown eyes." I thought. "Joker's chair, Amu Hinamori. These are my guardian characters, Ran, Miki, Su, and Dia." she said. "Guardian characters...?" I asked, pretending not to know. It's pointless to hide it. We know you have one." Rima said, sipping tea. Tadase's guardian character, Kiseki, looked angry. "Show yourself commoner." he said. My guardian character flew out from behind me. "Hello. My name is Amu." she said. "Same as me!" Amu said. "Anyways, we'd like you to join the Guardians." Tadase said. "HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH?" I exclaimed.
