It all happened so fast. One minute she was standing in front of Ciel, tears welling in those bright red eyes, and the next she was on the ground, blood pooling around her small frame onto the wet stones under her.
After that night I knew things around the Manor would seem...quiet. The others felt the same, we all wanted to have the Madam burst in, we all wanted to hear her voice again, see her face. Living as long as I have I should be used to seeing those around me fall, and I was used to it, but with the Madam, it seemed harder. I don't know if it was because she was such a large part in Ciel's life, or whether it was because I truly cared about her. I guess I would never know.

The night after the Madams funeral I opened the large window in my room and stood in front of it, savouring the silence outside in the grounds. In my hands I held a rose, its petals the same beautiful red as the Madams hair. I closed my eyes and held the rose to my chest, a single tear falling from underneath my eyelid onto the heart of the rose,
"Goodbye, Angelina."
Her name felt odd on my lips, but at the same time it felt right.
I touched my lips to the rose before letting it fall from my fingers onto the grass below me.
The rose was swallowed by the darkness, as was our beautiful Madam Red.
Closing my window I made my way to my large bed, sitting down and letting my head fall into my hands as I allowed myself to finally grieve for the woman who had left my life too soon, and had made such an impact on me.

The sun rose far too early for my liking, I felt I needed more time with my memories but it wasn't possible.
I dressed slower than normal, my mind still on the Madam. I left my room walked down the hall to Ciel's, wondering how he would be this morning, I knew his aunt's death had affected him but that he would never show it.
I opened the door silently, expecting to find my young master still asleep but the sight I saw will stay with me forever.
Ciel was lying on his side, facing the bedside table where a 2 photographs sat.
One of a young Ciel and his parents, all smiling happily at the camera.
The other showed a young Ciel again, this time in the arms of a woman with bright red hair and sparkling crimson eyes.
Tears were rolling down Ciel's cheeks as he reached his left hand out and lightly stroked the woman's red hair.
I felt as if I should leave my master to his private moment, knowing that he would be mad if he knew I had seen him like this. I backed out, closing the door quietly behind me, a large lump in my throat as the Madams face sprung into my mind.
