Gumball was walking to the bus stop with Darwin on a normal day like any other. "Darwin you want to play some dodge or dare when we get back" Darwin just nodded. The bus had arrived they walked in and headed towards the back "hi penny "gumball said he had learned to control his love struck face and voice. "Oh hey gumball" penny had said sounding happy as usual. They sat in the back and waited till the got to school.

They had arrived at school walked in to put some of there stuff in there locker then headed to class. Gumball had sat next to Darwin class started off with miss simian rambling on about algebra. Gumball had felt strange for a moment and then felt as if he should let Darwin know. He leaned over but as soon as he did the windows broke and 3 people in all black jumped in. one had punched gumball and his nose started to bleed. "what the heck" gumball said as standing up. He saw three men one was carrying penny and another had Darwin both were knocked out. "hey hey hey put them down damnit" gumball started to get mad. One that was carrying no one threw a punch at gumball. Gumball caught it and kicked him in the stomach and shoved him back. The man clenched his stomach then look at gumball in anger. Penny was starting to come to "whats going on gumball are you alright" she saw the blood on his face then realized he was fighting for her and Darwin. Gumball had seen something on the mans arm it said dark he realized they all had nicknames written on there arms. The man known as dark had kicked gumball in the chest. He grabbed gumballs arm and threw him into the wall then stomped on him as he layed on the ground. Gumball got up and coughed up some blood "lets end this" he said while starting to run towards dark. Gumball threw punch after punch at dark but he kept blocking or dodging the punch. Gumball had an idea dark threw a punch at gumball he caught it yet again and punched dark in the face four times. He then threw dark out the window "now put them down" he said to the other two men known as shadow and spike. Shadow and spike grinned at each other then ran towards gumball. Spike threw a punch at gumball but gumball ducked under but shadow had tripped him. Gumball had easily countered by sliding and tripping spike. Spike fell into shadow and they both went head first into a desk. Gumball had picked both up and went over to the door and slammed it into both of there heads. He untied penny and Darwin who was just coming to as was everyone else. the day went on normal after that but gumball vowed to never forget that day
