WARNING: I HAVE NOT SEEN EVERY EPISODE. Skylark Evanson (LOVE that girl) is taking me through any only showing me the good ones. i've seen "hit 'em where they live", "forge of creation", some other one i forgot the name of, and the season finale recently. this is my first Ben 10 story, so i might not get a lot of stuff right, so i'm sorry. i'm not a huge fan of ben 10, either. i'm just writing this off of the info i have stored in my memory. PLEASE review so i can know if i'm fit to write for Ben 10.

this takes place right after "absolute power" aka season finale of ultimate alien. it's when they go to mr smoothie...

POV: Gwen

Ben sat down with yet another one of his odd smoothie choices. I didn't know exactly what was in it, but I could definitely tell that there was some sort of disgusting meat when I caught a whiff of his breath later. He has the worst taste in smoothies.

Kevin slid in next to me. I could barely look at him. He looked so… so brutally human that it was hard to even look at his face. I had gotten so used to his mutated form, with the many arms and the odd parts thrown together here and there, I almost didn't recognize him, even now. But knowing that he wore skin instead of scales and slime soothed my nerves beyond belief. My mission, at least this one, was over. I still had my Plumber's duties, but having Kevin back was enough.

"So what're we gonna do now?" Kevin asked after he took a sip from his drink. "I'm human."

"You're technically osmosian," Ben said.

"Don't get technical with me," Kevin threatened and leaned over the table to boost the effect.

"I was just trying to be smart." Ben sipped his smoothie and glared at Kevin.

"'Smart Ben' is an oxymoron."

Ben snickered. "You said moron."

"You are a moron. You nearly killed me."

"I stopped him," I cut in.

"I know. But he still tried to kill me. Now back to my original question. Now that I'm back to normal, what's next on our list?"

"Well, we have to-"

"Get another smoothie," Ben finished for me.

"Um… no. We've already spent at least fifteen dollars tonight. And that's just on you."

"So?" He stood up, dumped his already-empty smoothie cup in the trash and went to get another one.

But why did I care? Kevin was human. I had all of my mana back. And Ben… it was just another smoothie.
