Notes:
The Great Maze Chall/Comp: You should keep a copy of the [Daily Prophet] for that headline alone. You take the path on the left minding your own business when someone throws a muggle object into the maze and it lands right in front of you. It's a little broken and scratched, but it may be useful. What object did you find?
~ HP ~
Draco was going about his business when he found something on the floor. It was rectangle, had buttons, and it was shiny. He tilted his head and with great curiosity and picked it up. "What's this?" he asked out loud. There was no one with him, so he got no answers.
Draco put it in his pocket before he continued walking. He'd look at the item later.
Later came to be after dinnertime. He got onto his bed and pulled the curtains close around it so his fellow Slytherins would know not to bother him.
He took the item out. It was metallic red and smooth to the touch. There was a screen with white buttons. There was also something that seemed to be rough and when he tilted the object, there were holes on it.
Finally, Draco got sick of examining it and started pushing buttons. Nothing happen when the first button was pushed, but when he pushed the center one, the previously dark screen lit up with a display.
Draco's tongue poked out from his mouth as he discovered certain buttons highlighted things on the screen. When he hit the center button when the word 'Music' was highlighted, he was surprised to see a long list.
He continued pressing buttons and eventually something blared out of the object. Draco quickly dropped it and listened with wonder to what seemed to be a song. It was nothing he was familiar with, and Draco knew the device was Muggle.
The device was absolutely amazing, but it was still Muggle. Draco's look of wonder turned into a sneer and he resolved to throw it out in the morning.
The next morning when he woke up, the hand that held the amazing device hovered over a trash bin, but instead of tossing it, he pocketed the item. He could always throw it away a little later, after some more exploration of course.
